Girls holiday 2 weeks po

hey girls i know the shorthall flights can be taken at 2 weeks, really fancy a girls holiday!! but will i feel up to it at 2 weeks? and will i be able to resume normal activities…drinking and sunbathing ?? im having overs x x

I wouldnt do it if it were me in case you get an infection or you take a bit longer to heal cos you never know how long it will take. I’d be worried about the germs from the pool/sea getting in the incisions or running into complications while I was 1000’s of miles away! That said its your choice and I’m sure other people would do it but I feel like if you are not suppossed to work out in the gym how are you suppossed to go out clubbing and drinking???

I flew at 2 weeks n the flight was agony just coz I had such a bad back from it adjusting to boobies/sleeping upright. it took me a good few days just to get over the journey. I’ve also had no pain what so ever until week 3…so even if u feel ok after 2 weeks there’s no guarantee. My recovery has been great in terms of healing, scars etc but I would in no way risk it. I went out just for dinner the other day and it was too much, but everyone’s different. I’d presonally wanna wait til I’d recovered so I could really enjoy my holiday x

ahh okay i might leave it for at least a month then! thanks girls, i don’t want anything to go wrong so it’s probably wise…will just have to pay more for flights for a later date ha x

nah i wouldnt if i was you .. wait untill your past 6 weeks post op .. cos then you can put on bras and all sorts.. dont wanna harm your boobs .. you need the strapped up tight in a sports bra for support.. x

I’m 11 days post op after having overs and feel absolutely fine, would definitely feel okay to go away. However, you can’t go swimming at 2 weeks po, it will be more difficult to keep your incisions clean and you shouldn’t be overdoing it at 2 weeks po x
