Girls im gutted !

hello ladys im 6wks po and thought yay alomst in the clear, then on saturday wham weepin from scar on right boob it was yellow, i spoke with my nurse frm mya great she was adviced me to go to walk in clinic as i sent her pics and she said it looked angry. so i went walk in clinic yet again fab nurse gave me antibiotics dressings etc.. my appointment was for monday my nurse was off sick so im booked in to see her thursday. im gutted i tryed so hard not to do any thing that would put me at risk of infection. im just wondering has any of u ladys gone thro this i cant help thinkin the worse what if i have to have implant out! will it get better, sorry about long story. any advice would help thank you x

thanx hun I am dyin to upload a album on here but was just waiting for my all clear and fab new look, im hoping it will pass quick. im scared incase the wound gets bigger im to scared to look big tit i am lol.

AW hun i know how scary it can be. I had mega probs with my scars in the first five weeks. I was allergic to the stitches and my scars wouldnt heal.

Im sure nikki on here had a weaping scar at around six weeks and it just cleared up.

Im sure removing implant is last resort

Hi fairyxx I have not yet seen the mya nurse. thursday I will see her. I went to my walk In clinic on the mya nurses advice and she cleaned it for me gave me lots of dressing and stuff to do it myself also gave me antibiotics flucloxacillin. That should help till thursday do you think. xx

Yhe babe it should. Try and put dressings on and keep it covered to minimise infection. Maybe its just fluid fingers x’d hun.

Becca, have they given you dressings to change your self everyday? i had this they gave me antibiotics as i had a weeping part on my left boob which frightened me to death but was told to keep it dry. it started with the nurse dressing it every 3 days then after that i did it at home , i used to change the dressing about 3 times a day just to keep it really clean and it totally healed and went away. it was also quite painful which worried me but its all good now so im sure it will be fine.xx

Hi Knights the walk In clinic nurse gave me.. ( Inadine to out on then to put over that sterile dressin and then sterile tape. but as i havn’t seen nurse from mya I wasnt sure to just let air get to it or keep those on. xx thanx all xx

Oh becca i forgot to say when i was at home i used to get them out for a few hours every night to let the air get to them before redressing them for bed, ha i probably scared my neighbours as my boyfriend pointed out i should probably close the curtains! x

Oh forgot to say to on the boob thats leaky it feels painful and hard to underneath my armpit around the side i can’t wear my breast band had to leave it off. I also think i streched cuz i felt a little rip not sure if thats how I did it I jus remember a little tug then later that day weeping came thro its not all that much but its enough to me. I am gonna go for bit girls but later i will add pic of it and if u dont mind tell me what u think plz. also i will send friend request Only if u dont mind that is xx

Hey hun, don’t panic, if she’s given you inodine and sterilized strip on it, you can keep that on until Thursday. Try to keep it as clean and dry as possible.

If its feeling hard and sore, it may be from doing a bit too much movement. Sometimes they do this apparently, have read other stories on here (am still pre op myself) about girls who start doing day to day things again and then later on on breast has gone hard and sore. I think its just telling you to take it easy

No probs anyway i can help just ask! mine was leaky too becca and took about a week to dry up , i think letting the air get to it helped it loads! mine sounded pretty much like yours with the pain and pulling! will have a look and let you know what i think, look after your self hun! xx

Hia bec I’m having same problem as u I m bout five weeks post op I took my bra off the other day and there was a biz of gunk on bra by the next day it was a open wond so i saw nurse and she put iodine patch on d took a swob about five days later om the same boob another opening i have uplift scars my swob is bCk and i have an infection so im getti g my antibiotics tomorrow but nurse said it doesnt look to bad so thats good im thinking positive and fingers crossed the antibiotics do thd job cos i wanna wear my sexy bras asap x can i add u x

hey hun, i had a similar thing to u only mines wasnt painful or hard, i had wound tension, the wound wasnt fusing together at the edge (i have pics of my wound in its healing stages on my profile) it cleared up after bout 5 weeks but its a terrifying thing, the removal of the implant is a last resort hunni so try not to worry, if they give u antibiotics take them until theyre finished, i had the inodine dressings aswell but i felt that it only delayed the healing more (for me anyway) i thought letting the air at it but putting a dry dressing on it helped it to clear up more xx hope everything goes great 4 u at ur appointment hun, will keep my fingers crossed for u xxx
