Hi girls, had my BA and nip lift on Monday and wow am I sore and stiff! But anyway I have 2 questions:

When I was discharged the nurse gave me a bag with my meds in but when I got home and opened it, there was an envelope addressed to my GP in there. What is this? And am I supposed to send this in the post? As they haven’t addressed it, they’ve just scribbled by doctors name on it. I don’t live near my doctor anymore so it would be better for me if I could send it in the post.

Also how long till you washed your hair? And also any tips on how to do it comfortably? As right now I can’t think of anything worse than leaning over the bath and rubbing my head etc.

    Thanks girls :) xxx

I think the letter is standard I just sent mine to the health centre so they could update my medical record honey,re washing your hair,it would be better if you can get someone to do it for you then you are not stretching,or use some dry shampoo for now,its awful feeling grubby,as the old saying goes if it hurts don’t do it,xx

I went to my local hairdresser and paid £6 for a wash and quick blowdry. Best money I’ve ever spent!! :) couldn’t face bending over bath either. Had my first proper shower 12 days po, amazing!! xx

Was fabulous. My hair was caked with dry shampoo and the guy washed it 3 times. I could have sat there for hours. Using Johnsons baby shampoo now I’m showering to minimise time in shower ( as don’t need conditioner ). Still not comfortable putting arms up do boyf is doing it xx

my daughter has helped me do my hair and still ties it up for me all week as i am still struggling to use my hair straighteners – i can manage a bit but look like a contortionist all squoze in a ball on the floor infront of the mirror so i can reach my head! haha!

my letter was actually wrong when i read it – it said i had implant replacement (i didnt!)so had to get new letter which just needed to be handed into my gp.

I can just about brush and tie my hair up myself but it takes forever lol! Had to do that myself as my hubby is CRAP at doing my hair and I have no one else to ask! I haven’t washed it yet tho :( gonna attempt that tomorrow, along with a mini bath :) can’t wait! xx
