I’ve heard the recovery time is better etc.. Can anyone shed some light on this for me! The less time I need off work the quicker I can have my op.. Just wondering how everyone else was after their overs. I am having them regardless but just curious! Thanks ladies xx

Hi 🙂 I had 400cc unders November last year and I couldn’t flush the toilet or brush my hair for over a week and then I was still very sore for a long time. I couldn’t Hoover up after 6 weeks because I could feel it pulling on the muscle and it was sore ? I had revision surgery on Wednesday so I’m 4 days post op and now have 500cc overs and I washed my own hair on day 3 and can tie my own hair up and do most things. I’ve still took 2 weeks off work because I work in a busy bar and couldn’t manage to lift the things I have to yet. It also might be down to my skin already been stretched that I’m not finding it difficult! Everybody is different but overs for me have been nothing compared to the pain I had with unders 🙁 and I did get told the recovery time would be very similar. It depends what kind of look you’re going for. If you want unders then it’s not the end of the world 🙂 xxx

@samanthabella @la1993 aw thank you for your help girls! I’m hoping to take a minimum of ten days off work. I’m so desperate to get it done asap but if I have to wait so I can recover properly then that’ll be what I do.. Don’t wanna be back in work when all I wanna do is rest ?Xx

What do you do? I know people who have had unders and gone back to work after 7 days and been fine but that’s like office work and stuff you don’t need to heavy lift 🙂 xxx

@LA1993 I work in a nursery.. The children I work with aren’t babies and don’t need to be lifted and I work with two other people in the room and you’re not meant to lift anything including children without a good reason! I know it sounds silly but I’ve already been like changing my routine there like to involve less lifting so I know there are different things I can do to avoid unnecessary lifting but I’m hoping at least 10 days off. Might speak to my PC xx
