giving up my sports bra 6 weeks post opp

hey girls i had the all clear yesterday from the nurse to wear bras, but ive kinda grown attached to my sports bra and feel like i dont wanna wear a proper bra, think im slightly scared to wear bras too, anyone else found this. xx

Yay!!! Congrats Nikki!! I think I’d feel the same. Think I’d be initially scared to wear underwires. x

I’ve kept all my sports bras and still wear them occasionally during the day and in bed if my boobs are a bit achy.

its weird my sports bra is so comfy, im wearing them to the gym anyway so still need them, thank you ros, i feel like its my safety blanket so to speak did you feel like that? i think id feel quite vunrable without it lol xx

Think i will keep wearing my sports bra too. iv not had mine done yet but been advised u have to wear sports bra in bed forever!!!!! think i will do it by the book were paying that much for them lol x

ive worn it for 6 weeks non stop more or less, i just dont know what to do about the day time, its just to god dam comfy lol,i even bought two new nike ones on my way home from my 6 week post opp yesterday they really supportive too lol xx

Whoo hoo – all clear Nikki – congrats I started wearing ‘proper bra’s’ on the weekend and did find them a little uncomfy, Think its the wires thats digging a little into my scars still, so I have switched back to sports bra if I am wearing a top that covers it up,…lol
