I’m having mine done in November in Glasgow. I’m having Andrew Hart, he’s so so nice, and actually really really listens to what you want. My fiancĂ© came in to my surgeon consult an he is dead against me having a ba, but he says after spkin to Andrew Hart he feels much better bout it now. X

Hi I’m having Ben Chew on the 13th Sept. I found him relaxed, professional took time to answer all my questions/queries etc, didnt feel rushed or stupid for asking silly qtns! He aslo specialises in cancer reconstruction patients;due me me having several lumps removed etc, he was my first choice. And the fact that I’m travelling from Kent to have my op in London so that I can have him, says alot.

As for the PC, Karen, I cant speak highly enough about her.

    Good luck with your choices

i was supposed to have mine at Glasgow but i ended up changing the whole thing at the last minute after a bad experience. i sat and waited in the office for hours totally ignored. i was meeting andrew hart, they asked at the last minute to bring my appointment forward as he had to leave early, even though they knew i was travelling from newcastle. i did what they wanted and they ended up being 2hours late. eventually when i went to see andrew hart he didnt have much to say at all. i’d say if you’re looking at getting lots of advice and experience from your surgeon he may not be the man. the newcastle clinic were amazing though and i met mr kazzazi after that and felt so much more at ease and happy with my decision. he is the most experienced- from their cv’s, he’s performed thousands more breast procedures than andrew hart.

I live in Aberdeen and Glasgow is my nearest clinic – even though it is still 3 hours away. Like Gtown, Ive gone with the Newcastle clinic (5 hours away), they seem alot better and Mr Kazzazi is amazing. He put me completely at ease and knows what he is doing. He only does breasts and also does alot for the NHS. The Newcastle clinic have been great and they have arranged my nurse’s appointments in Aberdeen but my surgery is in Doncaster. I felt it was worth travelling to get the surgeon you want.

Good luck with wherever you decide to go xx

I had my op in Mya Glasgow clinic end of last year and can only think of positives things to say. My surgeon was Andrew Hart and he was professional. approachable and clearly highly skilled and highly thought of within his profession. I had excellent after care and would go back to Mya in future. Enjoy the experience X

Everyone has different experiences with different clinics. I went to the Newcastle clinic last March an seen one if the surgeons there and he said that I didn’t need a breast enlargement and that if I thought I did then I must have ‘issues’. He was really rude to me and i felt like a right idiot for even being there. This really put me off and i decided then that if a surgeon thinks I don’t need a ba then obviously I shouldn’t have 1. But I went to the Glasgow clinic this July and I was so nervous that Andrew Hart would say the same but he was the complete opposite, he was so nice and understanding, I’m really glad that he’s my surgeon and I trust him 100%. I had my op in Glasgow in August, my surgeon was also Andrew Hart. I was very pleased with my results, in my consultation he put me at ease, spent a long time with me ensuring i knew all the information necessary to make my decision. He definately was not pushy I felt that i was in very good hands. I went to see him twice because like all the girls i was debating sizes. My op went very smoothly and I could not be happier at the results.

I think there are two breast surgeons working with Mya in glasgow. Ben Chew who had been there longer and performed more operations and Andrew Hart he is a professor (i think a little younger) so his qualifications speak for themselves.

We all have different personalities and may relate differently to people. That is why it is good we have choices, so we can match up with the surgeon we can relate to best.

I am 4 weeks post op, the nurse Melanie has been great been on the phone a few times to check my progress and Karen the PC was also fantastic.

Hey! In Ross hall hospital just now 6hr post op!!!! I had prof hart, I liked the fact that he had the additional qualifications and is a very respectful and professional man. Currently no idea which implants finally went in as I said I trusted him to male the judgment for my body and completely natural look!

Karen & mel @ ggow were fab especially as I only had first consult 3 weeks ago!

I would STRONGLY recommend doing a night case, You have the reassurance of help & better meds on hand. Getting to see the surgeon in the morning with doubts questions etc is important and the beds make your fist night more convenient…with something that takes such a toll on your body it’s important to know you are doing everything to ensure your recovery is smooth!!
