    Hi girls
I know it’s recommended that we take 1- 2 weeks off work after surgery but just wondering how people got on after going back? I work in retail as a merchandiser and often am pulling cages full of stock around I know I’m not going to be able to lift heavy items or over stretch which I’m sure I could get help from a colleague with that aspect …..and I’m sure for the second week I could ask to be on till more … But moving and displaying stock is my main job not sue what to do ….. Anyone else work in a job that’s quite physical? Any hints/tips or personal experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks x

I’m seeing my nurse tomorrow and going to ask for a ‘light duties note’ which means I won’t be able to lift anything heavy in my job! I can stil work just not lift the ramps etc.. Speak to your PC and see if they can give you one xx
