Going for pre op today what to expect??

At my pre op,we went through a lot of paperwork,all the paperwork was explained to me,before I signed it,the nurse measured my height and weighed me,we then took swabs for MRSA,blood tests,blood pressure,she explained the post operative instructions step by step, and gave me a 24 hour contact number, a brochure of the hospital I will be staying in when I have my procedure,and took pre op pictures,she asked me did I have any questions,and if I did when I left not to hesitate to contact her,the tests usually come back in 5/7 days,I could ring and check for peace of mind if I wanted to,but they don’t usually contact you if everything is fine.

My pre op was for Septorhinoplasy,not sure if it is different for other procedures.xxx

I didn’t have a blood test at my pre-op for a BA, is that normal? x
