Going on my first date in 8 years….. Arrghhhh HELP!!!

So have been intouch with a guy that I know from years ago…. He’s 13 years older than me … I have no prob with age what so ever…. Anyways he has to girls 9 and 11 he’s a really good dad has them all the time which is ace….!!! He even has a room for there half brother … How sweet!!

So we’r ment to be meeting tonight…… He sent a text saying cinema and meal…. The girls are coming… STRONG!!!!!!!!! I was more thinking LBD, false lashes, and some 6″ heels lmao!!!

oh hun, meal great,kids not so great on the first date .. maybe just be honest and say that perhaps the first night out could be just you so you can get to know him one to one, sounds like maybe he’s just a bit out of practise and wanted to please everyone but you want to enjoy the whole exciting anticipation bit when your dating and get to really dress up xx

is it your 1st datw with him? i find it a bit strange if a guy bought his kids on the 1st date. anyways you obviously need to dress for the occasion so maybe seeing as the kids are going to be there you could wear something like skinny jeans with heels and a nice top, still sexy but toned down iykwim. i havent really been on the dating scene a im 22 and married lol so i might be way off the mark xxx

hi hun – it is bit weird someone wanting to bring their kids on a first date, almost like he is using them as a shield?? maybe he couldn’t get anyone to have them and rather than cancel he decided to bring them?? did he ask if it was ok for them to come or did he just tell you??

if you don’t want to ask him not to bring them, then def dress appropriately as abifeatherstone has said.

It’s really exciting being on the dating scene. I’ve been married and divorced twice, and dated lots in between. And first dates used to make me feels sick with nerves. It does sound weird that he’s wanting to bring the kids cos you’d think he’d suggest a different night when he doesn’t have them. But, on the plus side, it’s your first date in 8 years and you will be really nervous and anxious and knowing the kids are coming might help take some of those nerves away. Perhaps go along then wait to see if he suggests going out just the two of you the next time. And if he wants to bring the kids on the second date then I’d say bin him off (in a polite way of course). X

I find dating way to stressful! Once a guy took me out to dinner and a guy I’d been on a date with the night before came in with his friends and sat at the table next to us – mortified! Too much bloody effort, glad I’m with someone now for the long haul!

I do find that very odd that he’s bringing his kids, not being a kid person myself I can’t think of anything worse! It’s hard enough on a date to impress the guy with your personality and wit etc, but having to make an effort with his kids too? I’d cancel lol xx

not sure cinema is a good first date as cant get to know each other but meal good. i always think for a first date a few drinks then you can leave at anytime if its not going good. personally i think children should only be introduced once you have a established relationship xx good luck tho rather you than me lol xx

ive had upper and lower eye bag removal few weeks back,couldnt believe it no scars,mario is amazing,im having chemical peel get rid of the sun aged skin,then cheek and lip enhancements to fill out my face,my face has lost its fulness as ive got older,no botox its temporary,hes harvesting the fat from my body(bit of lipo under chin,will define jaw line)and putting the fat from my muffin tops loll,in to my face,its permanat so no need to keep shelling out for repeat fillers.then nose next year i have a slight bump on it from a dinner plate that my ex used as a frisby,years ago,hence been single all these years,hate my having pics took lol.x
