Going on my own for ba

Boyfriend is picking me up though, friends have offered to come with me but I know i’m going to be worried about wasting their day and them being bored.

Will I be ok on my own do you think??

Thanks everyone thats what I thought. Had all my wisdom teeth removed last year (nhs) and went on my own and really regretted it as I was in such a bad way but I imagine the care is alot better at Highgate. Good luck xx

Im going on my own too hun. I’ll have a 3 hour train journey and Im an overnight case. My bf is picking me up the next day. Worried that I’ll have a panick attack on the train and back out or something, lol. Im sure we’ll be fine. Good luck hun xxx

i did it on my own, it was fine. watched some tv and read a magazine then went for surgery. after that i was so out of it from the meds that i just dozed in and out of sleep until it was time to leave. it is really important to have people around to help you afterwards though. good luck xx

I might have to go alone too, my boyfriend doesn’t know if he can take the time off. I’ve read in some of MYA’s T&Cs that you need someone with you 24 hours after the op, is this still right? I’d have to organise one of their cars if that happens because I’m 2.5 hrs away from the hospital where I’m booked. Glad to hear others have gone alone and managed fine x

yeah you do need someone with you, i was 2 hours away from the hospital so i paid extra for the transport. the driver was lovely and the car was really nice so it was a very comfortable journey x

I went by myself Hun, I had 5hr coach journey then I stayed in a hotel with only the fb girls online to talk to! Lol. As long as you have someone to pick you up and help you afterwards you will be fine xx
