    Hey,
I have my BA booked on the 27th May with Dr. Malik, its a thursday.. and work aren’t giving me the weekend off, Its come to the decision where i either have to do it on the 27th rest that day and the 28th and go into work on the 29th, or i won’t be able to get it done until end of August :( Which is not what i want!.. I’m so upset because i’ve wanted this operation for years and having it booked and the deposit payed made me realise its actually happenning, and no it’s being taken away from me just like that. I have a holiday booked in July aswell, in which i was looking forward to showing off the new boobs so much. I’m even considering cancelling the holiday because i’m so self consious about being in a bikini with literally no chest!

So, i was wondering if its at all possible for me to go to work two days after the op. My work isn’t exactly physical, its pretty much an office/receptionist job, and will be able to rest in the evening? Someone will be able to drive me to and from work aswell.

Will anyone be able to help me in giving me some advice or information from their personal experiance after their op? Was you able to move around ok, and did you feel any pain?

hi hun, personally speaking i dnt think you’ll be up to going to work. you’ll have limited use of your arms, plus you’ll be very tired and weepy from the GA…..you can take a week off work on the sick for up to 7 days can’t you, without a doctor’s note? i’d do that if i were you.

maybe not what you wanted to hear, but you’ve spent an awful lot of money, and will have been thru a major operation….dnt risk your health hun x x

Please don’t go back to work then Kim. I felt worse than anticipated for three days post-op. I did suffer from quite a lot of pain but I was like a blinking weeble as I couldn’t use my arms to get up from any sitting position! I think it’d be really risky, even if you dose up on pain-relief, as that’ll only disguise how major the surgery was…..
