good or bad experience which clinic? lets find the best and the worst.

Hi girls, there are so many of us out there who have had really good or really bad experiences, is this just down to luck or the clinic we use? I think If mya can see a patten then it may help them address the problems. may be some clinics are better run and have better pc’s than others.

I used Cardiff, nurses lovely there but my pc left and I wasn’t informed implants were not ordered so not there on the morning of op (see thread really pissed off with mya). problems with call backs. op went well happy with end results so far (3 days po) put really not happy with the service I’ve received.

I used Brighton my PC Victoria was Awesome, also nurse at 1 week check was great.

Surgery with Mr Chantarasak at Highgate.

So far fantastic experience

I used Holborn, really pleased with them and haven’t had any problems at all

I used the Leeds clinic and they have been fab with me. My PC is Louisa Nicholson and the nurses there are great too xx

I used Holborn for my Rhinoplasty excellent

Newcastle for my follow ups excellent

Leeds for my non surgcals excellent,xxx

Im also with Leeds clinic and louisa nicholson. Great clinic lovely staff. And lovely pc, and I’ve bugged her loads and she’s always been patient with me xx

My nurse rang me out of the blue yesterday evening to see how I was

after my op on Wednesday, which really pleased me.

I use Manchester. Difficult to get hold of anyone unless you complain. Minimal contact from pc but I don’t blame her. I don’t believe there’s enough staff to deal with the work load. That lies with management and really needs to be addressed. Overall I’d rate the Service poor but love my surgeon and nurses. X

just had a call from mya they are looking into my complaint and taken it seriously so this doesn’t happen again as I was not the first person it has happened too. Also some good news I said that a lot of us don’t feel we new enough about the difference in implants when we booked, that we find out most of are information on here. As from Monday people going for a consultation will also see a rep about the different implants.I think this is great news and really will help with the whole which implant to choose problem.

I used Leeds and my pc is Louisa. They’ve been amazing, couldn’t of asked for better service, had a few issues with healing after and the aftercare, nurses, hospital & my surgeon have been there 24/7 so very pleased xxx

i used the upper wimpole clinic, all lovely staff. but at my week post op check the nurse hadnt turned up, i waited about an hour then they got one to cover who didnt really know much about me as a patient, i thought she would have my paperwork but she jus asked ME what i needed done didnt even know it was my boobs & i had to say erm need them redressed? which made me feel even more nervous coz i thought she wouldnt know what she was doing (they had emailed me the nite before telling me my appointment had been cancelled but i didnt check my emails that day!)

and very long waiting times, waited 3 and a half hours past my given appointment time for my 6 week check, and was only with mr singh no longer than 3 minutes, very rushed. x

im with the Bristol clinic and my pc is Kristina and she is fab

if i ever have any problems i just give her a ring and she puts my mind at rest

nothing ever seems 2 be 2 much trouble. i couldn’t ask 4 a better service from mya my op is in 15 days and im soo happy i choose mya!!

i never have 2 wait a long time apps always are on time and all staff @ bristol are brilliant..xx

I’m with the Birmingham Clinic. My PC is Jodie. I think they have been fantastic. It’s had been difficult to get in touch but its not the staff. The PCs need a more robust electronic system to deal with patients’ call backs, enquiries, appointments, emails, text messages, orders, finance. With the repercussions of the whole PIP scandal, it has been too much to cope with.

I am only speaking from my own experiences. But beating that in mind I am very happy with my PC

im the same as mini, but with newcastle clinic, now going to manchester instead, fingers crossed for there

my PC is a lovely person, but the whole clinic is understaffed and over worked, and one of the nurses there, needs a personality transplant! the reception staff are deffo in need of a bonus, as they do try hard, but as they arent PC’s, then they dont get to rinf and chat like a PC should, but Amy there is becoming a PC so iv heard, and if she does, she will be worth having! xx

cardiff mya, pc was Deborah and kath was my nurse, i really couldnt fault one inch of my care, they were with me every step of the way, any questions were quickly cleared up, my pc rang me before and after my opp and was only a phone call away any time i needed anythin xx

Cardiff clinic, all staff lovely, said can pop in to try sizes whenever I want, last time went in they weren’t expecting me but receptionist remembered my name which I was suprised about as only 4th time I been there, pc was Miriam now she left got Katy, can’t complain all welcoming an helpful, even though was bit of confusion about transport last time I went issue was resolved an explained before I left, my worry about sizes was also sorted pretty quickly for me so glad chose mya xx

Leeds for me. Not had op yet but always been into my appointments earlier even with surgeons and never had to wait. My pc is Jemma and she is AMAZING. I’ve mailed her loads of questions and she always phones me with the answers within the hour. Can’t reccommend them enough. And can’t wait for my op in September xxxx

Newcastle’s great – so lovely and friendly. I’ve had to wait a little white for appointments, they seem to be busy! Which in my opinion is only a good thing.

Joannabella, that nurse no longer works there anymore, and the other nurse is really lovely! xx

Manchester! Overall – shit!

Surgeon is fab, pc never stopped ringing, till I paid, now ignores me, never answers phone,texts & then lies when I confront her.

Clinic is too busy, understaffed n seriously needs sorting! Xxx

Brighton clinic and had my op at the highgate. Over the moon with MYA and my suregon Marion Grob. Soo pleased with the results! xx
