Got a cough…..

So op is on Saturday and i’ve got a bloody cough!!!! The nurse said that if i get ill at all before hand i need to call and let them know although i’m worried if i do that they’ll try and postpone my op?

I haven’t got a cold or anything, just a tickly cough and i’m pretty sure i only got that because i was smoking at the weekend and i don’t usually smoke! Do you think i should call up and tell them? xx

I’d wait another day or two, especially as it’s just a tickly cough it sounds like something has just irritated your throat and you’re not actually ill. Good luck for Sat.xx

i had a very slight cough and theyoperated jus be warned it bloody hurts when you cough after you had them done!! also they say you shuldnt smoke and drink 7days before your op.

Yeah i can imagine, did you have unders or overs? I’m prone to coughs anyway and i don’t usually smoke, just got drunk and smoked a few so broke both rules there! Although it was Friday night not Saturday so i’m sort of still within the rules! I’m not coughing all day or anything more during the night and a bit in the evening xx

P.s did you call up and let them know beforehand? xx

How annoying!! My eldest daughter and other half have come down with colds so Im avoiding them like the plague ha!

So worried about getting anything now Im this close.

Dont tell them if its not bad hun, I wouldnt x
