Ive had my initial consultation with the patient co-ordinator and booked for a consultation with the surgeon next week.In my initial consultation I was told that because i wanted to pay the low monthly payments long term-as long as i worked a minimum of 20 hours I shouldn’t really have an issue with getting a loan.I work way over 20 hours and earn on av £900 a month but was declined finance. Are there any other options available anyone knows of or any suggestions anyone has to help me!!???
thankyouuu:)
Check out your credit rating on experian hun and they will recommend the best loan deals for you, you get a 30 day free trial but think you have to pay £6.00 for your actual credit score x
noooo dont get a loan or go with finance, i dnt see the point in having to pay interest
do what i did, go with either tesco’s or get a barclays platinum credit card, both have 0% finance for a year. if u google o% finance credit cards theres a website that lists them all n what they have, tescos will tell there n then the amount u can have, if ur accepted for barclays they send u info in a letter a few days later. ive gt barclays its so easy to pay off online
n if i cant pay it off in the yr i can transfer it to another company next yr n get 0% again xxxx
i got declined last year babe . your on about same wage as me ? 1200 a month ? i went and got another job to try fund my ba . im borrowing a thousand off my family putting 500 in the bank a month and last minute credit card which i get 6 months 0 apr so fingers crossed . worst comes to worst get a over draft . hope this helps hunn . how old are u ? xxx
Be careful cos the more you apply and get declined, the worse your credit score gets.
I got the Tesco credit card, 0% interest for 13 months and you get club card points lol. I applied online and for a decision in minutes and didn’t have to mess about sending things in the post.
The other option is the mya piggy bank scheme xx
im with barclays . they offered me credit card but not told me my limit ! i didnt want it till oct for when i pay rest of my piggy bank off but what are the chances of barclays offering me a card then ? xxxx
I did it on my MBNA 0% interest, then will switch it to another card when that runs out, got accepted for finance with first medical but the apr was stupidly high so i declined it xx
i knoqw its something like 28 apr ! my car apr was less ! im borrowing thousand off my dad ! already got 6 hundred got 5 moths to raise 2 grand i should be able to do it ! xxx
i know it’s shit, but could you take on something extra part time to fund it? xx
i got an MBNA card – 0% for 16 months – did it online and got instant decision – i only work part time and was accepted – not salary minimum with them like you get with some cards
hope that helps xx
ahh this is all so helpful!i might get applying then..a lot of people have reccomended the tescos card are there any minimum requirements does anyone know!i think its going to have to be a cc my paarents arnt keen on the boob job thing so dont want to be my garuntors!GRR! thanks for all the info tho!!x
tescos only gave me £200 whereas barclays gave me £3600 so i took that. i only work 16 hours a week have very high outgoings but dont own a house/pay rent. and i got accepted, think it tells u wot they are when u look on the website

ooo that sounds like it might be a good awnser then, your in pretty much the same sitch as me!ill give that ago right now!!thankyou!argh fingers crossed!!its proving harder than i thought to get finance!x
I applied for the first medical loan and have never experienced such issues at getting finance they kept asking me to have a joint applicant, which as you can imagine no one wants to potentially be liable for a loan, and it was a nightmare asking a couple of friends. So I went and got one through Tesco they were so quick I had the lain in my account within a week of applying for it
