gotta have a moan

sorry ladies, i got to have a moan, i was booked for Mr chantarasak for 2nd august, realy looking forward to it,sorted out child care, but now he wont perform my surgery as he doesnt think im ready because i asked a few qs!!!!

luckily my pc has been great and trying to get me in with mr singh BUT i havent seen him yet (as he cancelled our appointment for today,,,,,,as mr c wanted me to see other surgeons also……and isnt back in bristol until 15th august!!!!!!!

its kinda taking the micky as i had picked mr c and that date for a reason….as i have to get childcare from my mum (who will be going on holiday in middle august) and also because i cant have any time off after the school holidays! (am student) ARG im sooooo annoyed, im very upset with all of this, i paid my full amount a week ago and had my pre op etc and now its all gone down the drain, i know my pc is doing her best but its not going to fit around my life now it has to fit around theres………..feeling very let down if im honest….i cant be flexible with my dates now as everything had been put into place for 2nd august i have other things to consider as have 2 small children….NOT a happy bunny!!!

well in the first consultation he said i can have 525overs or uplift and small implant told me to go away and think about it, so i did and booked a second appoinment with him to discuss what i had decided which was the 525overs, he then said that id need the uplift as 525overs wouldnt achieve a good result (i was annoyed because he could of stated that in the first consultation!!) so anyway i said ok i think i will go for 525 but will give some more thought (as he put doubts in my mind) he said he wouldnt be happy to do just implants he wants to do an uplift! so i saw another sugreon who completely confused me as he said 380overs! but would need uplift, i wanted to not have uplift but enquired the price of one anyway, i then asked my pc if i could talk to him about uplift as he DID NOT specify what size he would put in or the incision type, over the weekend i ummed and ahhhed but decided no no no i just want implants defo (even though i dont know what he would do with uplift)………then my pc told me he wont do it. to me he shouldnt of said i have 2 options then try and push me for uplift but not tell me much about it…..of course its going to put doubt in my mind and make me confused…..now they have my money and i have zilch atm.

also i paid my full amount because i was assured id have the operation but mr c felt more happy with me having more opinions by other surgeons. (mr singh had to cancel appointment for today)

cant believe uve paid full amount and they have messed around with ur dates n stuff..thts not on! no wonder ur raging! i have kids too and will be in same position..its not just a days babysitting or anything its having sum1 there to help for the 1st couple of weeks! oh id be mad too hope they sort it out soon for u xxx

thanx hun, thats very true, as she wasnt on holz she was able to help out to look after the kids, now though she might be here for the date but not to help me after, my partner said we could take them with us and come home,but its a 2hr30min drive there then home in evening, i couldnt do that to them its way to much, and unfortunately i dont have anyone else

but yes fingers crossed it works out well, i just cant focus on anything else atm, ive wanted this for such along time i just cant wait, and booked my date 2weeks ago, now 2weeks before its all changing, its lucky i didnt book the hotel for evening!! thank you for sharing in my rage though lol makes me feel alot better to know im not being silly

urgh that is so annoying!!! i wouldnt put up with that!!! u must be angry. im angry that theyve changed my appointment to meet mr singh let alone telling me he wont do it anymore. youve even paid, dont let them get away with it, u should have who u originally booked with ! xxx

thats a tough one hun and in your position i’d be so worried about going ahead without the uplift if two people now have said you probably need it, is that a definite no go for you because of the money? i had an uplift and ba 6.5 weeks ago xxx

Hi boots that’s awful hun!

I would tell them if they don’t get u booked in for the 2nd by the end of the week u want ur money back.

Their policy is that the full balance is paid 21 days before ur surgery date and at the mo u don’t have a date so theyres no need for them to have your cash x

thank you all for your kind feedback, yes zoe its completely cancelled he wont do it atall but i had a call from my pc today, she may be able to get me a consultation with mr singh for 25th july and IF he says he will do it (ive been advised its not a definate hope he does though!) i can be booked for surgery for 5th august….. they are paying for my train ticket to birmingham to see dr singh so that is very nice of them, its so frustrating though i still dont know if im having it or not until 10days before i do (if i do) lol i got my fingers,toes and everything crossed possible! that he says yes, im wishing my little heart out….

Sorry to throw this one in, but what if Mr Singh says you need an uplift?

I knew I wanted an uplift as well as implants all along but if I hadn’t and 2 surgeons suggested I needed 1 I’d definitely go with it. Otherwise I’d be likely to need one within a couple of years anyway. The weight of the implant will cause more sag really quite quickly. It could work out very expensive for you if you need 2 ops in the space of a couple of years.

I advise that you think really hard about this one hun!!

hiya clare i have thought about it long hard hun, i realy dont think i need one and i cant get the funds for one atm anyway. im more than happy to have one in the future but right now its not for me, iv been advised if i want to have more children i should wait until afterwards to have uplift, and im so young atm i dont know what the future will hold, but thank you for your concern huni its mean alot
