Gutted :(

Finally managed to have a look at my boobs in the mirror about day 4 ( got them done tuesday nite)…But one looks much bigger than the other! Still not sure if i got the implant size i asked for which was 300cc.

Mr Aurakzai never came to see me after the surgery. But there was a minor complication which ment i had to go bk into theatre :S.

Looking at my discharge papers it sed the left one had to be replaced again which i wasnt told….AND is the one tht is bigger!

So confused…Cud it just be swelling?

Tried ringing nurse and my consultant but may have to wait til 2morow b4 i hear anything bk.

Aw thats awful…. I cant believe you have not been contacted about this ‘complication’…. I hope they call you first thing…. It could maybe be swelling more due to having to have the implant taken out & put in again???

1 of mine is swelled more than other. they should have give you a book about your implants, at the back is a card saying your size and type.xx

oh racheleo, im sorry to hear that honey. i know its normal with some girls that one is usually left behind. i had the same thing on day 7 and was bit worried so i searched and searched and browsed on forums, articles, u name it. theres several girls who said and even posted pics that it happens then eventually they even out some takes weeks some even months but they will both drop cos of gravity cant do owt about it. but what complication, i mean did it not say on the discharge paper? its unfair they had to leave u without answers for days, the dr shouda sat with you b4 u left and explained it for ur peace of mind. i posted my photo when my right was smaller and higher than my left boobie if u wana have a look feel free. i had only 260unders but it same projection as 300, ur just 0.5 wider in diameter if its CUI ALLERGEN MHP . i hope it all goes well with you hun and let us know how you feeling. we’re all in this together now, the boobie club! xx

I was told i had to go bk into theatre and the blood vessel needed to be caughterised (cant think how to spell tht)

but wasnt told the implant was replaced . The card doesnt say anthing on it apart from the hospital and telephone numbers :S.

And obviously dr didnt come see me after explaining anything – just the nurses who told me (although dr spoke to my mam b4 i was bk, wud help speakin to me of course)

When i was leaving – as you have to be discharged so need the papers for it. Strange you didnt get ant. Cud perhaps enquire? either consultant or the hospital…

I was given a letter to give to my GP and I had to sign I letter to be discharged but that that’s just general information… Hmm what else should I have? I opened the letter they wrote for my GP and that said they prescribed me lactulose as one of my discharge medicines but I wasnt given that?! Xxx

Hey Hunn, that’s awful I hope they call you back soon. I think it probably is just swelling as that breast has been through more trauma xx

Thats all i got too jj, i didnt get any book on implants stating size etc, i was at Doncaster.

My consultant rang me bk and sed its all early days so with how the left was messed with more it’ll be more swollen. and cant expect alot with so few days – will take a while to settle:)..think i was having one of those emotional days after cin my boobs for the first time in the mirror.

And feeling like crap as my stomach looks huge now! its horrible
