HI
I’m so gutted I went for my pre op appointment yesterday and the nurse said would have to cancel my op booked in for 9th April as it will only be 4 months since giving birth- i advised the nurse that this was my 3rd appointment in 3 weeks and i had mentioned the baby in every appointment with my co ordinator and also the surgeon who both said would be fine. Mr Traynor said its fine 3-4 months after having a baby. The nurse said its company policy to wait 6 months – which is fine – just tell me that on my first appointment ! not after letting me travel to manchester 3 times, paying in full , getting a date, getting excited etc. Then to have everything cancelled 🙁
Really don’t know what to do- re book for July as I’m going away in June or get a refund and try elsewhere? Husband seems to think it will be the same throughout the industry with a 6 month wait.
just pissed as wanted new boobs for my hols in June. 🙁
I understand your frustration though. But it really is worth the wait especially for mr traynor. Plus your boobs will change So Much! In thatshort time. Trust me I’ve been there x
The thing is doing your own research will always keep you away from any dissapointment as although you see a proffesional surgeon, it’s still an elective surgery so you need to do your homework… in.general you can’t really have a breast augmentation untill at earliest 6months post pregnancy. Your boobs will still be producing milk and will change dramatically not just from the outside but inside also.
Enjoy your new bundle of joy and holiday and when uou come.back book yourself back in hun, the wait will be worth it darl
Goodluck x
Hi hun, my op was meant to be early feb and I got ill and had to cancel my op. It was absolutely gutting as I should be 6 weeks and wearing bras by now!! Had to rebook for april and I thought it was going to be forever but now i have 2 weeks to go and its gone SO quick!! Honestly I know its heartbreaking and June/July seems like forever away but it will be here before u know it!! xxx
Aw really feel for you 🙁 it will be worth the wait though, I had my pre op today and having mine done on 9th but with a diff comp x
Hey huni I had a baby two years ago and he was 5 months old when I went to about BA and he said come bk at 9/12 months. Which was lucky for as He said if I just have implants to early and they drop and change I could have been paying out for a 2nd op with uplift and the 1st op would have been waste of cash. So anyway my time had come 11 months on went bk this time needed. And needed a full uplift and implants and he was right with wot he had told me x
It’ll be the same case for me too then….my little girl was 3 months on 12th March and me and my PC were looking at getting me a late space booked in for April….guess that won’t be happening now! I didnt really want it any later as it will be getting hotter and I dont fancy being stuck in a sports bra for the summer! 🙁 gutting! know how you must be feeling!!! but i totally agree why not tell you straight away? no-one has told me either?! we were thinking of going away in june but no chance if im not gonna have boobies by then…know that sounds shallow and silly! like the others say it will fly by (easier said than thought though ay! xx
i’ve just read up and it seems to be about breastfeeding etc…should leave it 3months after b/feeding if you did as you could still be lactating milk etc and the hormones are still a bit squiffy! x
I’m exactly the same I was booked in for 1st April with Mr traynor and got a phone call the other day to say they had to postpone as I only had my baby 3 months ago which I had told them from the beginning. But so glad they have now as I would hate to spend thousands and them not be perfect.. 18th June mine are re-booked for and I’m counting down the days already :))) xxx
