    Hi Girls,
My surgery is in almost 8 weeks. I love going to the gym, and I know I won’t be able to go for a good few weeks post op. I was wandering what anyone did to keep on top of their fitness regime during the healing period? How long did you have to wait till to could go to the gym as normal? What is the pain like? How long till you can lift things or even lift your arms fully up? Jump up and down etc.
    Thank you! xxx

Hi babes. Im usually a gym bunny and lift heavy. But im doing strictly no lifting until 6 weeks I accidental picked my daughter up yesterday shes 2 stones and it didnt hurt. Ive had no pain at all whatsoever. Today my nipples are like razor blades tho as the nerves are recconecting. Im eating clean and doing 5:2 diet inbetween with two days off to keep me sane! This will make me drop fat but eat enough for surgery recovery. So less calories as I aint burning any! Im looking forward to going back to the gym though but ill start back as a beginner and start with legs and bum. Hope this helps somewhat x

This is what I’m planning on doing too, high protien low carb diet as I need to loose a few pounds anyways! Then I’m going on long walks and squats with no weights to keep me sane as I love the gym! X
