Pre-op my resting heart rate was between 50-60 bpm. I’ve walked and kept active since my op and have even lost a couple of lb by really watching what I eat. Thing is I’ve noticed my resting heart rate is sky high, between 80-90. Has anyone else had this?? I’m quite concerned

Mine was the same, I think its to do with the meds and your body trying to heal itself nothing to worry about yet hun give it time and it will settle again, Mine went back to normal at about 3 and a 1/2 weeks, if it continues though go to docs and get checked out :) xx

Oh yeah keep a close eye on it hun and perhaps ring your pc so that they are aware of it and maybe they may have some words of wisdom, Hope it settles hun :) xx

maybe your just a little anxious, this can make your resting heart rate higher and its nothing to worry about, if you have things on your mind it easily increases your heart rate without you even knowing it. also i find if im tired my heart rate is higher as it has to work harder to pump blood round the body xx
