So I am booked in for May but I was at the gym today thinking, what can I do after my op. I do treadmill, ski machines, bikes, kettle bells, sit ups, sit ups with weights….. so you ladys who have had your BA’s done, how did you find excercise afterwards. I am having unders. x x 😆

some people start treadmill n bike at around 2-3wks and slowly work their way bk up. i personally waited 6wks until i had the all clear to start bk as i dnt think its worth risking doing any damage, as its also having sweat near your incisions and to do with your heart rate being too high, too soon after having the op,so its nt just about causing damage to the implants by physically moving too much.

at 6wks i stil didnt feel rite doin the rower or most arm exercises with weights,it took bout 8/9wks to feel like i cud start them again. i had overs aswel, unders take longer to heal too. i had a pretty long recovery tho. everyones different, u jst have to go off how u feel. u wil know if ur doing too much cz your body will tell u to take it easy xx

Thanks hun, I thought as much, I was going to defo wait 6 weeks anyway its not worth it trying to rush back for the sake of a few weeks. Prob just do the treadmill and swim after the (fingers crossed) 6 weeks all clear. Then like you did wait and try light weights to tone

    xx

They say after 6 weeks po.. But still no jumpy exercises. Since it’s unders, will take much longer. Unders are meant to be quite painful as well. Overs is more discomfort than pain.

No swimming, sun/sun bed to breasts, lacy/under wired bras or any strenuous exercise for first 8-12 weeks po!
