HAD MY CONSULTATION WITH MR TRAYNOR – CONFUSED BOUT SIZE, PLZ HELP!

Hi girls,

Finally saw Mr Traynor last nite, he was lovely. He recommended 300 but said I could have 300/340/380. I had sort of already made my mind up about 300 after seeing pics & implant. But then when I went back to see patient coordinator to try them on wit sports bra n t shirt, she was telling me to go for 340 cz of them losing a bit of their size wen theyre under the muscle etc, but to me they jst looked huge. N i dnt wana end up top heavy, jst wana even out n b more in propotion. Am only about 6/8 on top (probs 32A/30B) and 8/10 on bottom. 300 didnt seem to make massive difference in clothes but think they wud without clothes and in underwear, which is more wot im bothered about..

Shes suggested i come bk n try them again with dresses/clothes i normally wear. But is saying 340 wud b going for medium size rather than going for smallest option, which i might regret..

So now am confused!

Go for the max you are offered hun as most of the girls say the same. Im having 340 and I couldnt have any bigger. Dont think theres a great difference, go with what you’re advised. It is soooo confusing though hun as every story is different and mixed views all the time. I think you will regret smallest xx

I had 340 unders with Mr Traynor last friday. He said to me “im a big fan of putting the smallest inplant in that gives you what you want to achieve”.

Mr Traynor offered me 260/300/340. Im guessing Julie is you PC? I went to see Julie after i seen Mr Traynor and she (without making it obvious) advised 340. She said she would hate to see me dissapointed. I ordered 300 and 340 for the day of the op and I went with 340 in the end.

The thing that made me go for 340 was on the day of the surgery when mr traynor said to me “people never come back to me and say the wish they had gone smaller”.

Mr Traynor specialises in natural looking breast so non of those sizes would look unnatural. and the difference between 300 and 340 is about 1/3 of a cup size (next to nothing)They say every 125-150cc is equivilent to one cup size. I would say to avoid dissapointment go for the 340’s.

My swelling has starting to go down now and they dont even look big at all. They are perfect – just how i wanted them Julie was right when she told me mr taynor wouldnt give me anything that didnt look right!

Thank you so much for your story sazzler, yes I did have Julie lol yeh she said exactly same it was rly obvious she thinks i shud get 340. Seemed like a big diff between 300 n 340 to me but 340 n 380 seemed about the same! I no all the girls say go for biggest but i rly think 380 wil b too big on my frame.. I think ure right tht i cud regret going for smallest, whereas I spose like julie’s saying going for medium at least ive not gone biggest or smallest?

Am jst worried tht 340 wil look too big cz am only slim n i dnt wana b uneven as whole point is i wana balance out wit my bottom half, not make top half bigger than bottom half

yeh mr traynor said to me too he likes natural and smallest..n tht if he cud tell me wot to go for he’d say 300, n kept saying good girl wen i sed id originally wanted 300 lol n told me to stick with it…….

i wil defo go bk n try them again bt am worried tht even wen i do tht its nt gona b accurate cz as u say it wil b different wen under muscle..

Bit confused bout wot ure saying bout cup sizes, traynor said tht 300 wud take me up bout 2 cup sizes, so wot du think 340 wud take me up to?

HAve you tried the rice test? To see how much difference 40cc is measure out 40grams of rice and then you will see – its hardly anything!!

Whats your height/weight and clothes size?

I am 9 stone 8, 5 ft 6 and size 8/10.

I asked mr traynor about “loosing some under the muscle” and he said its just a myth. So not sure if thats true.

The recovery has been a walk in the park (and im a wimp when it comes to pain!) i havent been in pain once with my boobs. Its more the other things like feeling groggy from the painkillers and antibiotics. Alot of girls – inclduing me dont go to the toilet for about 4/5 days so that can be painful!! And the cocodamol can make you quite dizzy. But other than that its been totally fine! xxx

aww tht sounds fantastic as am totally rubbish with pain too!!! i hope im as lucky!

i am about 5’6, 8 n a bit stone, probs size 6 on top rly narrow shoulders n thin arms, 8/10 bottom. hav a look at my prof pic to giv u an idea!

Saz – ur almost the same stats as me yet i was offered 300 340 380 and have chosen 380 as i felt they looked right!!

Hopefully they will!! Glad recovery has been ok for u… Thats another reason i chose traynor because he is meant to be gentle and not leave u too sore or bruised.Xx

Haha… I just looked at your profile pic and I did see you. We were sitting opposite each other in the waiting room. I am tall with short blonde hair and I was dressed all in black. You looked quite nervous hun!! Mr T was lovely though, wasn’t he!! xx

Hi tashak….All I can have is 300 unders & to be honest Im worried they will be big! I only want something to put in a bra as I currently have nowt!

I dont want people to notice & have never been big in my life… Go with what you feel.. dont be pushed into going bigger if you dont want to.

My friend had 340 from a/empty b & she is now a dd….

C cup for me would be a bonus :0

riggers – i no, i dnt wana b pushed into anything but also dnt wana wish id gone bigger. defo dnt think id go 380, but perhaps 340 so i didnt regret going too small, on other hand am tempted to take traynor’s advice as surely he nos wot hes on about? n yer ive always bin small n as am not telling my family only mum close friends n bf probs nt a gd idea to go massive lol! n yer i want the main difference in underwear n without clothes not necessarily with clothes on..

hi tashak.i had my ba on wednesday with mr traynor.hes a star.he told me i could have 310,380 or 410.but when i tried them on i didn’t think they were big enough.but i decided to go for 460 instead and its the best thing i ever did.i absolutely love my new boobs.mr traynor has done a fantastic job i couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon. i was panicking before my op that i was going to be in alot of pain afterwards but i haven’t been in any pain at all.i just felt a bit uncomfortable.i found the painkillers they gave me really worked,but they do stop u from going to the toilet so i’ve been taking a mild laxative which really helps.theres nothing worse than feeling bloated all the time.

if i was u hun i would definately go for the bigger implant i promise u want be disappointed.xxx

go for the 340 hunn trust me they dont look as big once they are in and after paying that much money you dont want to be dissapointed xx

khanni – rly hun cz i jst spoke to my mum n she thinks i shud go for 300 n 340 rly did look soo much bigger than i wanted arrgghh so confused, wish there wasnt a difference once theyre in so tht it was more realistic wen i try them on!

rly dnt wana b disappointed either bt dnt wana end up top heavy or looking too big in clothes, dnt want a massive difference jst to feel sexier more grown up n more in proportion… r 300’s rly small like?

its difficult cz am rly narrow n go thin arms, so obv it different for everyone’s bodyshape n wot u start out with! am probs a 30 or less ontop
