Had my op yesterday Highgate

Hi girls, had my op at Highgate 1.30pm ystdy and by 6pm me and my bloke were sat eating dinner! felt great and not a twinge of pain. Havent had 1 painkiller since i came round from the anaesthetic, even the nurse couldnt believe it..Had a good nites sleep and woke up at 5am today had a wash, put some make up on (thank god!) and even straightened my hair lol..So grateful to Mr Singh and staff. The nurses were great and had a good laugh with the anaethetist who realy put me at my ease..I had a re-aug, my 1st op had taken me to a 36b with 280,s..and ystdy i woke up with 605,s. Hard to say how they look at the mo, just like big pointy rockets lol, just as they were after the 1st op 14yrs ago. Mr Singh had asked me to bring in a 38dd sports bra which i did (and laughed cos couldnt imagine fitting it). Dont realy need the bra until strappings off in coupla days but did try it and fits perfectly..at the mo am very happy and dont even feel like ive had an op at all, realy couldve gone as a day case altho didnt know at the time just how well ide feel so thort it best to stay overnight..will get some pics up v soon xx

no at manchester with mr traynor, soooo excited now just cant wait to be able to buy bras x

thanks annie, what was the journey home like? ive got to trvel from manchester to newcastle which is about 3 hours ive heard you can feel every bump x

It realy wasnt that bad Lucy honest, and took us 4hrs. One thing i did 4get to take tho was a pillow or v pillow for journey home and would advise u take 1, after an hr i got tiny bit of back ache and ended up rolling my hoodie up and putting it behind my back lol..it did ease it a lot. But my boobs were fine..ule be ok hun just take a pillow xx

awww good, i bought my v pillow yesterday its class!!! tried practicing sleeping up right last night lol! didnt work so dont know how im gunna cope lol x

Haha, i tried sleeping upright too, bloody hard isnt it, ended up slipping down and lying flat!..think as long as ur not on ur front or side tho ule be ok xx

Hi Amanda, as ur already a 34c am sure ur going to be at least a dd cup with 410,s…b4 my 1st ba i was just a 36aa/a then with 280,s went to 36b..now a dd but obv only 1 day post op at the min…think u mite be even bigger than dd! good luck with urs xxx

Lol it is so exciting int it..ur surgeon will prob advise u on what size sports bra to get..mine told me to get a bigger band size as well as the cup size..i didnt think ide need the bigger band size but he was right..cos u swell under and around ur back a little too..maybe get 1 dd and 1 e? can always take 1 back thats wrong size hun x

Hi I’m in highgate at the min traveling back to grimsby so got a nice long journey home to! I’ve had mine behind the muscle and can barely move my top half! Its not like a bad pain just a weird discomfort! But can’t complain I’ve had 365cc and 34dd fits perfectly. Were in lincolshire you from x

Hey Janine congrats and glad ur happy with them. i,m in Cleethorpes hun small world eh! lol..u will be in a bit more pain if uve had unders..was it u and ur boyfriend i spoke to ystdy as i was leaving the hospital?

and no my admission time was 5o’clock last night had surgery at 7:45! h

and tell me about pain it feels like my chest has been ripped apart and someones sat on it haha. cant complain though i loveeee them! x

Yeah haha! yeah i am nakerd finding it hard to sleep! yeah it is a long trip when you gotta go back to see the nurse? mines next friday so another long drive! im kinda use to it now though was living in london only moved back to cleethorpes a week before my op how annoying! and you too xx

Thats bad luck hun moving back here just a week b4 ur op! Hey i,m goimg 2 see the nurse at Leeds cos said i didnt wanna realy go all the way back 2 London just 4 a check up, so the nurse at Highgate arranged it nearer for me..might be worth u giving them a ring Janine maybe they,d change it to Leeds, Donny or Sheffield 4 u x

2 be honest i dont. Mr Singh said i should be a dd cup and thats what size sports bra is fitting me at the min..Am not sure if theyre going to get bigger or smaller as i heal tho, i had overs and its a long time since i had my 1st ba so carnt remember..do u know if overs fluff like unders?..what size did u have hun? x

sorry i really dont know, i had unders so that was all i read up on. im sure some of the girls on here would be able to help you though i was a 32a and now a 32dd in most shops, 30dd 32e in others. but mostly 32dd. im over the moon but if im been honest they dont look a dd/e, to me anyway, although my mam keeps going rachel they look huge when im grumbling!! haha. xx

Haha yeh its mad isnt it dd from an a cup seems a huge jump..just knowin ur that size makes u feel sexi tho huh? lol..ile try and find out a little about overs and fluffing thanx hun xx
