Had my plasters off today

My scars stinging. Is this normal ?

I’ve also got my monthly which I don’t really get as I’ve got the implant in my arm.

I can’t understand why I’ve come on. Has anyone else had this ?

I have had mine off too today n there stinging too. With the period thing its weird also coz I had my implant taken owt 1 week before ba and I was on at the time and then I had my ba same day as yours n them 3 days later come on again. I Think its something to do with GA xx

Did you go to Bristol today by any chance?

I’m so grumpy cause my boobs sting my throat still hurts and I’ve got my period and painful tummy

No I had my tapes removed at Leeds 6 days po and she put the strips on scars n told me to soak them off today in shower which I done but it feels too early lol. Oh no I can imagine hun xx

I’ve got the implant and altho i havent had ba or rhino yet, i do sometimes come on if I’ve been stressed or upset and rundown for a week, think its just one of those things, your body just freaks out and doesn’t know what to do! Guess its just the randomness and trauma of the op?! That’s just my guess xxxx

I’m a little peed off to be honest. My appointment was awful

I was booked for 11oc but the nurse went AWOL so didn’t get in till 1ish.

When she did see me it was a rushed 4 mins. She pulled the plasters off handed me 5 wipes and said you can clean them yourself at home can’t you. And kind of pushed us out the room

My other half took time off work to drive me to Bristol for what I could have done at home. I left there today not really knowing what I can and can’t do.

It’s my first check since the op. And was hoping to have a good chat and have more pics done. And a list of what I am able to do.

Omg your joking thts terrible my nurse was great I.rang her coz the horrible tape was making my skin react so I rang her 6 days po n she said come on today and ill take them off, so I went I’m she spent at least a good 40mins with me listning to me checked ny legs coz I mentioned leg ache cleaned all the sticky adhesive off my boobs. That’s just awful. 2hr late for a 4 min appointment shocking hun xx

I’m really upset that’s what I was hoping for. But not what I got

I had a few little things I wanted to ask about.

I didn’t even get to see my pc

My pc saw me coming upstairs and ran out of her room to see me and have a look lol. They have been fab. I wudnt be Happy either hun they should ask u if u have anything to ask its appaling Wot a joke xx

They are so good normally

I was so gutted and peed off when I left. My pc is ringing me tomorrow because I txt her saying how unhappy I was. She is lovely.

That’s good tho that she is calling you I suppose they all have busy days but wen u waited 2hrs u shudnr be expected to be rushed in n out. Sure youl get it sorted chick xx

I’m not the sort of person to get upset about waiting time. If there running a bit late that’s fine. Its how I was treated when we were seen

Im So easy going and don’t like to complain. I just feel like they just didnt care.

From what I’ve read on here you all got cleaned up and more strips on. I’ve not had anything like that on me.

Should I have had them on and been cleaned up.

No probs not now hun coz I got told to take my steri strips off today so I have nothin on my scars now but she did out them on at 6 days po. But I was cleaned up she cleaned all the sticky stuff off me and then cleaned my wounds up but the strips on and Jus said leave them on.for 4 days n then take them off so I’m guessing that’s y she didn’t put any on you but u should have been cleaned at least xx
