Had operation on Friday with Dr K at Parkhill 410 under

I am writing this from my bed 36 hours after op, not going to lie girls, a lot of pain.

My admission time was 5.00pm which I thought was really late had an afternoon shopping in Doncaster before hand with my friend, not recommended as there were bakeries everywhere and I was starving.

Got to hospital for 4.30 and got took to my room straightaway. The anaestist came to see me about 6 and the Dr K came to see me about 6.30pm, on my last visit I could not decide between 410 and 460 unders. I went for the 410.

At 7.30pm I got taken down to theatre and woke up about 11 back in my room when the nurse came in to do my obs. the pain was really bad and I asked for some more painkillers and was told that I needed to wait as I had my maximum during the operation. The nurse then left me till 3 by which time I really was in a lot of pain always thought I had a high pain threashold until now (3 c sections). Still no painkillers had to wait till 7.30 next morning.

Was discharged at 11.00pm the staff were lovely at Parkhill, just make sure that they pour you a drink of water as I was left the jug and couldnt lift it to pour myself a glass and didnt get the cup of tea and toast promised nothing till breakfast so 24 hours fasting for me made up for it since though.

The journey home was painful, make sure you put some cushions in the car as u will feel every bump.

By 4.00 pm yesterday I was in a lot of pain think all the morphine etc had finally worn off and paracetamols only take the edge of it. My new boobs look huge had been told that they will look odd and like pyramids and they do, they are both facing in opposite directions which is attractive not I do hope that is the norm???

Had a restless night sleep. but feel a little bit better this morning the pain is bad though, my boobs are burning up and didnt realise how much your arms will be restricted due to going under the muscle. Ache everywhere from my neck right down my ribcage. Just hope they look ok when the bandages come off at the moment feeling very sorry for myself and not sure it is worth all the painx

i had mine done 18 days ago hunni, i had overs tho, couldnt wait till my 6 week check to see wot they looked like in a normal bra tho so got a lil cheeky n bought myself a bra xx

heya hun, u will be in pain bless u, uve had under the muscle so its always gonna take a little longer to heal and be more painful xxx i see u had dr k?? im assuming thats kazzazi.. if thats the case then i wudnt worry as ive heard hes one of the best and im sure ur boobs will settle down in no time xxx any operation is trauma to the area and everyone reacts differently… when i had my c-section i cudnt walk at all for 3 days where as the other women in the ward were up and about the nxt morning!!!! even then it was 2 weeks before i cud stand up straight xxxx ur gonna be just fine babe xxxxxx big hugs

Thanks all for your lovely messages , feel a bit brighter this afternoon had a bath and put some make up on feel more human . It was dr kazzazi and yes do trust him hoping these will be worth the pain once they have settled down . Keep u posted x cans get sone photos up soon as can x x

Hey Rosie. Welcome to the boobie club I had 410 unders 2 weeks ago today. I was in alot of pain too. But to try and cheer you up it was only the first 1-3 days. By day 4 I was off the pain killers. Relax but try and keep moving so you don’t sieze up. You’ll feel better for it in the long run. Happy Healing hun xxx
