Had steri strips post op – can I fully bathe??

Steri strips on for 5 days, now 11 days total post op. Can I have a fulll bath and take strips off?

Scared my scars are gonna open up!!!

i took my steri strips off in the shower 11 days post opp as directed by my nurse xx

a little but once i had them off and seen my scars i was shocked how much they has healed already xx

what size did you have honey yours are mahhoooooosive just seen your pics they look awesome xx

I only had a shower once I’d taken the steristrips off. Made me iffy taking them off – I had to lie down!!! lol

Mine had healed loads already, and day 14 the scabs are coming off naturally

Oooh, theyre off! Left scar is amazing, right looks very bumpy and even! Relieved to have had a fully body wash – now forgets rash and bruising to go down.

I had 410 unders Nikki – they don’t seem that big! Got a 34DD sports bra on whilst Macom dries and it fits! Hells teeth! I’m not giving them much attention really, just want the swelling to go and for them to totally drop. How are yours doing? Are u just a couple of days ahead of me?

Tweetie, I was sick at Mya when she took my bandages off! Might have been the wine from the previous night though!!

well u have a tiny waist thats making them bigger then coz they look hugh . im in a 32E but yours look bigger, bet your glad to get them off mine are slighly un even but healing well, im 13 days post opp so just two days in front of you and know what you mean bout wanting them to drop, ive got a love hate relationship with mine at the momment lol xx

My scars r lumpy and bumpy too… I took my strips of in bath, I thought they were going to open up! I still think it sometimes I am obsessed with the scars!!!  happy healing – r h happy??

I felt rely down round 20days po… But I’m getting used to them more now! It’s a big change to except isn’t it…

If I had my time again I would prob go a little bigger but I’m happy… I’m hoping when I can get a nice bra on i will be in a love/love relationship with my (.)(.)…. Yours will settle soon & u will love them!!! Xx

hi kirst, feeling alot better now, i wasnt expecting the up and down emotions ive been having, thought having a ba was as black and white as, booking the opp, having the opp and perfect boobies, but its so not is it. i def dont wish id gone bigger, would rather be a little smaller if anything but ill get used to them, i tried a top on from topshop yesterday which looked fab which made me feel good lol.

Nikki- glad u feeling better Hun! U got a lovely flat stomach so u r boobs will look fantastic in fitted tops! Where as my tummy has a bit of wobble so does look to good in tight tops! But I’m getting there! Lol. Xx
