Had to change my date…..:(((

Hi Ladies,

Im soooo gutted, had an infection on my tonsils and been on antibiotics for a week but the cough seems to have gone on my chest now, should of been having my op on Wednesday but i am just not well enough.

My new date is 15th November so only 2 weeks tomorrow, i was actually devastated this morning but now ive thought about it would rather be fit and healthy think recovery is going to be hard enough without a cough aswell.

So any booby buddies out there at Highfield on 15th??

That’s a shame, but you will def need all your strength for the op, while you’re waiting do a few sit ups a day to get the stomach muscles working, you’ll need them after the op! good luck x

Thanks huni, ive come round to the idea now as no point in struggling with the recovery.

I am defo starting my sit ups tonight xx

I got ill 2 weeks post op and was still recovering when I got a bug, it was horrible having to juggle both, really felt crappy, so at least you’ll be back to full health so you can concentrate just on the recovery, will be here before you know it!

I’m the 15th also

yeah fully recovered now thanks, am lucky that I’m not working at the mo so there was no extra added pressure to get back to work. Am 3 weeks tomorrow, can’t believe how quick that has gone, halfway to getting a proper bra! The ie goes so fast, I remember being 2 weeks pre op and thinking the day would never come and before I knew it I was all done and here I am. who’s doing your op?

hi pocohontas, really sorry to hear bout your illness and ur op havin to be moved, i have just finished anti biotics for an ear infection but they haven’t affected my date i’m still tomorrow!!! keep you posted, good luck for the 15th xxxxxxx
