hair!

Hey ladies! How long after op can u wash ur hair because ive not washed mine for nearly a week and it gets greasy really quick i cant stand it anymore! I know you cant have a shower or get dreassings wet till you have them removed but i was wondering if u could lean over bath and have someone do it for me?xxx

I got my OH to do mine over the bath. I think it’s too early to get your dressings wet, so I’d get someone to help you leaning over the bath. Or book and go to the hairdressers. X

Yes, I had someone wash mine a fews day after. If it’s not comfortable leaning over the bath, try using a chair and lean back over the sink x

I was gona keep my top on and have a towel round me hun! So wont get them wet i was just wondering if it would be ok to lean over bath i dont want um to drop out!haha.xxx

Lol. You should be fine leaning over the bath. Belles idea is a good one if it’s uncomfortable leaning forward. X

my partner washed mine, and half me at the same time, i kept a towel over my boobs though, and i booked in for a wash and blow dry and the hairdressers. he was washing my hair from day three, and i was at hairdressers at a week post op, and twice more as i had 17 days without a proper shower xx

I cudnt stand it either cos i have the sort of fine rubbish hair that goes greasy over nite! So i did mine over bath after two days, and when i have my reaug soon that what ile be doing again!xx

I only wash mine once a month hehe sounds disgusting doesn’t it but it doesn’t look or smell bad ever so I don’t bother with it id recommend dry shampoo for after op tho

I washed mine over the bath at the hospital haha! I wash it every day over the bath xx
