Hair Done?..

hiya!

Im getting my BA on Tues 10th Aug, is it too soon to have my hair done on the Saturday?

i was wondering how you all felt post op and would you have been able to get ur hair done or is it too soon??

Hope not! I have to have my false nails taken off before my op and was hoping to go out and get them back on the day after the op! Not sure I can live without them for longer than that!!! I’m sure you’ll be OK….

Hey girls I’m 2nd day post op and am in more pain now than yesterday! I can’t even pull down my pjs for the loo LOL!!! Seriously I can barely move!!! xx

oh no…hope you’re OK! That is bad news! Wonder if there are mobile nail shops that come to you!!!??? I’m gonna feel naked without them! Actually Laura1989, maybe you could arrnge the hairdresser come to you just in case??? There are quite a few mobile hairdressers…

Be careful girls it is a big thing to go through and everyone handles the pain differently but you WILL be very tender and stiff, I recommend nothing but rest, dont do too much to quick you might spoil the end result. I couldnt leave the house for 4 days there would of been no chance I would of wanted to get in and out of cars or walk around.

Laura – if you get your hair washed in the sinks at the hairdressers I am pretty sure you will find it impossible to lean back onto them, for the first 10 days after my BA I was leaning forwards over the kitchen sink and my boyfriend was washing my hair, and it was the 3rd day before I even dared try this lol. xxx

hey Hun, I had my ba last Tuesday and If it was me id leave it til at least a week after the op. it’s hard getting up from bed/chairs etc yourself so getting in and out the chair they wash your hair in might be hard.
