Is it bad to just have the 10 year guarantee? has anybody gone with that option. Im now lead here looking at all internet research and worrying I should have gone for the lifetime?. starting to really stress…eeekk need to take some kalms!!! xxx
I only got the 10 year. But I wish I had asked what happens if mya goes bust? Do I keep guarantee or does it go down the drain? Just ask yourself if you could afford another op in the future as you will eventually need one if it’s 5/10/15 years away.
dnt think it really matters coz with the lifetime garanty it only cover the implant so u have to still pay for ur surgery xx
Thanks sky.. I didn’t know that! so much info going around in my head today. Keep thinking of questions. xx
i havnt had mine done yet i was gona have natrelles with mya but im havin cui with Nu cosmetics now cz they have an offer on so instead of paying 4158 with mya im only paying 2999 xx
I was thinking the same thing, I’m going to start a savings account and put little bits of money in here and there incase I need it in the future and I’m not covered xx
good idea hun! Think I will do that too.! God I wish I could win the lottery!
x
i know so im going for the cheaper option my best mate and her mate av had theres dne also so k ow that the surgeon is good y pay all that wen i can get it for alot cheaper the lifetime ones are 3500 xx
Don’t we all haha, been planning for years what I’d spend it on and I don’t even play it!xx
haha me neither! how funny! right this sat we have to now!lol xx
SYK is not completely right, the lifetime warranty for the natrelles doesn’t just cover replacement of the implants, it also covers some costs towards a reop, and the rupture rate for them is around 1% whereas for the cui’s it’s 5% and the rupture is under warranty for 10 yrs. If they rupture within the 10 yrs you will get implants replaced but no costs towards reop as I understand it.
oh thats what i heard i think alot of ppl say different things on this forum so never know whats the truth about it xx
i have picked the 10year ones i think i should pay that bit extra for lifetime do you think girls??? isit 100% they are lifetime. ive already had my consultation with my surgeon picked size and everything can i book another onsultation with my surgeon or isit too late? xx
its upto u but they might last longer than 10 years not every1 will get new implants after 10 years xx
I could be wrong but the warrantys are covered by the impalnt manufacturer arent they not Mya??
Regardless I chose the Natrelle for the sise but importantly the warranty, 461 quid is nothing in comparison if you need to pay the full amount again for an op xx
i got the lifetime option with nu cosmestic clinic where are u having ures done sky??? x x
so is it a life time with mya or ten years x
im going with NU now wich surgeon did u have xx
ive got mr f on the 19th his lovely what hosp u going to xx
ill be going to the 1 in wilmslow ive just inboxed u supercoops xx
yeah i no sorry just repiled back lol x x
Like crampy said the warranty is with the manufacturer not MYA. I chose the natrelles because they were less likely to rupture, less chance of capsular contracture and less chance of rippling. For an extra few quid it was worth insuring my boobs, I want them to last a long time and I felt those implants gave me the best chance of that.
