has any one had there implant out ?

I’m having mine out on tuesday due to the infection and the agonising pain I’m in, I just want to what my breast will be like after, I honestly regret having my op.

Nearly 2 weeks ago sat up in bed and yellow fluid came out the top of my incision, got antibiotics they have done nothing got some more but keep being sick, and the pain I’m in is agonising I can’t move so I’m having it out on tues, x

Oh no that sounds awful! How far PO are you? Do you get your money back? Or do they re-do it? Sorry for all the questions I’m just curious xx

Do you watch glee? I don’t but I think one of the cast members had her implants removed. It was on the sun website a couple of months ago. You could try google images, there should be pics on there. X

If I remember rightly, she never got used to them and they caused some discomfort. I mainly remember thinking you would never know by just looking at her. Are you planning on getting them remove permanently or hoping one day to them to be replaced. Awww, I really feel for you. Big hugs. X

Hi hun my cousin had hers done with The Hospital Group, she had an infection too it wasnt spotted straight away they said there was no infection but didn’t know why it wasn’t healing one day loads of fluid leaked out and it was like an open wound you could totally see inside.

She rang T.H.G they told her she would have to make her way down to birmingham to have it removed she lives in newcastle so it aint exactly down the road and she doesn’t have a car, she was hysterical as her parents and grandparents were on holiday she had no one to take her she told them this, eventually T.H.G called her and had arranged a car that had other girls on there way down to birmingham to have theirs done they made her promise not to tell the other girls what had happened to her and pretend she was going to get her first BA too.

The surgeon found she had a raging infection they scraped it all out including the implant and replaced it she was told she was lucky it was replaced as like you said they normally leave it 6month.

She’s had them for couple of year now and they’re fine after that she said she loves them and doesn’t regret having them done her scar on the side that was infected isn’t very nice but still unnoticeable under the crease.

I told my pc at MYA this she was shocked and said if anything like this happens at MYA I am completely covered to have it removed and replaced with surgery again.

I truly hope everything goes well for you hun. Out of interest after the 6month wait when the implant is out are you covered to have the surgery again to have the implant replaced, you don’t need to pay anymore? xx

Got even worse and thurs night got rushed into hospital by ambulance then friday morning had emergancy surgery to remove the implant as the infection was that bad,

Now I’m sat on my ward with odd boobs and a drain in one side, I feel awfull but so glad the pain has gone, I am covered to get my boob redone with the clinic I went with, but at the moment I just want to focus on getting better xx

Bloody **** pink petal! That sounds awful Who did u go with if u don’t mind me asking? I aven’t heard good reports at hospital group at all xxx

Oh hun, that is awful news. I was warned that you have to be really careful with an infection in the scars in case it reaches the implant. That’s all I can say is how on earth didn’t they catch it sooner. Poor you. xx

Hun this all sounds truly horrific, I’m so sorry you are having to go through this. Really hope your recovery goes well babe. I know you won’t be up to it yet but would really appreciate hearing more about your story, this kind of thing really freaks me out and puts me right off. I hope you don’t mind that I’ve pm’d you xxxx
