Has anyone else had this?

Hi all,

I went to see mr Singh 5 weeks post op and he said I could start wearing normal bras but after a week my scars went pretty red and one bled slightly so went back to wearing sports bras, 2 weeks later and they are still pretty red looking so still in sports bras. I was wondering if anyone else had this happen? X x

yeh this happened to me!! i went on a night out and the day after my scar on my nipple rasied up!! and i sort of squeezed it and this yellow pus came out and then it bled!!! but healed up days later! i think it just the scar being rubbed by your bra! so i tend to wear sports bra’s for bed etc”” and dont wear push up too much X

Cheers janey, I am worried to try a bra again yet, do you think I should wait untill the redness dies down before I try a bra again? X x

yeh just wait till it goes then try again!! mine was really wired! id been on a night out and had like a push up bra top thing on!! and it bled!! very strange! X

hi hun exactly the same thing happened with me, i am 6 weeks post op and at the end of one of my cuts went red and got a bit infected healed up after afew days just keep really clean and if it gets worse goto ur nurse they can give you iodine patches to put on them which dries it out. wait afew days till you try a normal bra again cus i was a bit naughty and wore normal bras i suppose it serves me rite xx
