Hey Girlies,
Im new here and saw this thread and just HAD to post!! I am the same.. bad credit history from my teens and i just got a loan!!! If you go to the site ‘yesloans’ and apply there then they find someone to give you a loan.. the repayments are obviously higher than someone with good credit but im not fussed as i want this sooo bad! lol Anyway, just wanted to let you know and for all others reading this that having bad credit doesnt mean you cant get a loan
Im having my surgeon consultation soon and hoping to get 525’s but as im quite small not sure that will happen! But a girls gotta try!! I will keep posting throughout my journey
Goodluck to all pre-op girls and happy healing to all you post ops! oh and BIG thankyou to the lovely girls who have added me so i could make a better decision about what size to go

Hey girls, i have a bad credit history too so saving for me
just wanted to suggest avoiding yes loans, had dealings with them previously, you have to pay around £60 for a service which to be honest money supermarket will do the same thing!! x
Well least im.not the only one saving lol xxx
Yeah you can chick! I’ve put 5k on my cc OOOOOOOO!!
lol x
Definitely be very careful with loan companies, NEVER pay any money up front or you are likely being scammed. I have got a clean credit history but they for some reason agreed my loan but asked me to pay 1k so I’m gradually gathering that then booking. After all that my bank offered me the loan instead! If you have a guarantor you will get accepted with mya for sure I’d say. Basically just someone who agrees to pay if you for some reason can’t or miss payments. You can’t lose anything by trying! Best of luck xx
Hey hun I’ve got bad credit I’m in the very poor category
same as you’s from being stupid when I was 18 thinkin store cards and phone bills would pay themselves but I guess they don’t! I can’t get a loan at all so I’m doin the hard save like a few others on here, we’ve got a group called savers lol if any of you want to join it’s just abit more support for those of us having to save hard and wait longer. Good luck Hun X
I went to First Medical Loans first of all, my credit rating is fair (not brilliant) but I do have a big mortgage with no probs on it. They wouldn’t lend me the money on my own, so they wanted my husband to go joint on the application. What they also do is they initially accept your application in principal in most cases, then once you’ve sent in your bank statements etc they go through them with a fine toothed comb and ask about certain transactions to make sure you’ve been honest about your outgoings.. they called me back and were asking why we were transferring money out to another account in my name every now and again and were counting all of my DDs. In the end the £5k loan was accepted, but on a rate of 22.5% over 3 years. In the end I didn’t go ahead with it and put it on an 0% credit rate which we will clear in less than 2 years. They told me that if they are in doubt about giving anyone a loan for their procedure, they ring MYA themselves and ask them to split the risk with them as obviously MYA don’t want to lose you as a customer. They look at your rating and make a decision. I would imagine you would be fine one way or another, but it your rating is pretty bad they may whack the interest up xxx
sorry meant to say above we put it on a credit card with 0% on a special offer..
I booked in March for my op in July, started saving at xmas, Time flys and I say good things come to those who wait!!! x
Hi PollyDolly, I was approved for a loan with FML for 2400 (already had a deposit saved) and then got approved for a Tesco credit card too! I used the credit card and sacked off the loan – still interest free for 13 months and I get clubcard points on the boob job lol!
I had missed payments and stuff a few years ago when I was a student, but over the last say 4 years its been clean and I got approved easy enough. It’s worth a try but I think it also works in your favour if you’ve saved a deposit xx
