Has anyone had an infection?

Why has this happened to me…gutted!

Anyone who can can share any stories relating to infection would reassure me loads as feel so down and upset by this left boob…

Oh god huni. I’ve not Bren well and got to see nurse. As I think I’ve got infection. I be gutted. Chin up hun.

Hi huni. I had an internal infection, it was shit! My boob went solid and it felt like a boiled rock lol. Dont worry chick, i was given a course of antibiotics and after that it was fine. Its horrible now but 99% of the time an infection can be easily fixed xxxx

I’m bad really bad. My boobs are soft but could be my scars. So worried. I feel so weak , sick , temp up and down. Pains itchy all over body sum areas hot. Can’t sleep coz of worrying.

ticky88 – thats exactly what I seem to have – my left breast is an awful shape and size, its rock hard and looks and feels awful. Whilst it is red, it just itches although I am taking paracetamol to numb the dull ache…..I have been on antibiotics for a week now – how long did it take to settle?

ddgirl – I am so sorry to hear your pain…..I am not as ill as you with it sweetie but ill enough for it to worry me and exhaust me…I have two little ones to look after so rest is not an option….have you been back to see your surgeon sweetie – are you been looked after?xxxxx

I’ve 3 children to huni. But husband is helping, but he doesn’t realise I’ve had surgery I’ve been pushed to do thing quick not had enough rest. I’m completely drained. Not seeing surgeon till august I think for 12 wks check up seeing nurse on 3 wks time got my 6 wk check up. Fed up feeling crap just won’t to feel like me, Jinksy. Do u wake up with boobs achey like hell, like got mill coming on. O wake up like this most mornings and it’s not painful just very sore and tight and uncomfortable but boobs aren’t rock hard. Feel so crap.

Oh dd girl – it is awful isnt it…! Yes, every morning I wake up, my boobs ache, hate the thought of sitting up…but they improve throughout the day…just alternating between paracetamol and ibrufen….did you have unders or overs? I had part under and over the muscle…

My husband works away alot so dont get much help so you just have to get on with things dont you…rest, whats that then!!

Its just my left boob that I have a problem with, my right is fine! Just want it to be over and feel well again and be in a normal bra and enjoy the fact I have just spent thousands on new boobs!!xxxx

My husband on army so he goes away so know how u feel. Feel so drained. My eldest is a wee gem like nearly 12 and helps me. But I’m a mum my kids shouldn’t be helping me I should be doing all mumsy staff for them it’s breaking my heart. And Mu youngest one who’s 22 months just wonts me to pick him up. Now he’s all over daddy, lol my daughter who nearly 7 loves all my time and she said don’t like when your poorly mummy it scares me. Just won’t to feel like me again I’m 3 wks po and thought I be on top of the world but it’s been one drama after another since op. Fed up big style. Not sleeping coz minds working over time with worrying. Thanks for all your support and advice so nice sumone feeling under the weather too. Are we friends on here if not I add u.

Hi gnats – no I dont think I have got that capsular thing, think my is more of an infection which is causing the swelling….

ddgirl – add me as a friend as I do understand what you are going through…I am nearly 5 weeks po and going on holiday 4 weeks on saturday…just need to feel better as you do….my girls are 2 and half and the other is 1 so both equally as demanding as eachother…

jinksy81 – I have two little ones, two n half and one n half. Worried about how it will be with my girls. What size did you have and with unders or overs? xx

I had partially under and partially overs, they called them dual plane….and I had 425cc low profiles….you will be fine gnats but it is hard I will be honest but having said that, its not helped by getting an infection so I am perhaps not the best person to ask..xxx

I put up with mine for about 3 days but then the pain got too much. I think mine went after a week and a bit xx

Thanks ticky88….its been just over a week now so with abit of luck I am through the worst of it..! Did it alter your final shape on that one boob?xxx
