weeze – Hi hun, that’s what I’m worried about because I want to be a large D/DD and I’m scared that he’ll say he can’t take me to that size! My consultation with him is the day you will be having your surgery 6th Oct! So just have to wait and see what he says then. What size are you now and what size do you think you will end up after surgery? Also what size implant is he using on you? xx

does anyone know does mr traynor do nipple incisions?

jmc89 – yes it will definately be worth it!!! I was a small 32B (Mr Traynor said A/B when I had my consultation). I had 380 overs and when I got out of surgery I was wearing a 34E sports bra for a while until the swellin went down, now a 34D/DD fits fine. I hope to be a 32D at the end. I dont have any before pics, didnt think 2 take them 4 some reason?! I can send u afters tho if u want? x

JMC89 – Hi, I had my consultation with mr traynor last night. He was friendly enough, a bit abrupt tho! He told me quite clearly I couldn’t possibly have the size I wanted and then carried on discussing the rest of the procedure, told me he never uses drains, and went thru all the possible side effects etc. I’m booked in for 6th Oct in manchester, so not long now! good luck with your consultation in a few weeks! x

Hi girls….Mr Traynor is a great surgeon, I had mine 2 weeks ago 2day and I love them!! 4 weeks til proper bra shopping! The nurse said aswel that Mr Traynors patients dont experience alot of pain because he is so quick (20mins she said) and he puts anasthetic in the pocket where the implant will go and not all sugeons do. I had little pain, mainly aching – just take the pain killers every 4 hours!!! good luck! xx

That is so funny – I’m also in tomorrow with Mr Traynor and have had several dreams where I wake up and there’s nothing there. Also that my op took place in an open air field in front of loads of people!! I’m dreading it now and am frantically trying to clean my house and change the bed so I don’t have to try to do it after – I’m convinced I’ll be in agony. I’m in overnight as I live some distance away, so will prob be on my own for most of the afternoon/evening which I’m now wishing I wasn’t! Also I sleep on my front – religiously. I keep thinking I’ll never sleep again without the aid of tranquilisers. I’m sure these are all very normal worries and I’ll soon realise they were unfounded – I hope!

Rachelg – it’s great to see you were on your computer the day after your op as I seem to have visions of myself as being completely debilitated and unable to sit up!!

are you getting nervous as you only have 3 days to go arrgghh i have 9 days and just had my first dream about it last night!
i actually woke up with all my pillows stacked up and i was asleep sat up lol when i woke up i grabbed my boobs and there was nothing there to the horror, i then woke up lol

well my mum took me and stayed for about and hour, then i told her to go! there was no point her waiting with me and then waiting for me to wake up.. she just came back later on to pick me up

if you feel comfortable going alone its not that daunting! but it was nice to have someone with me while i was getting settled

did anyone go with you? not sure whether my hubby would like the fact a doctor is gonna draw on my deflated breast lol and wondered if it would be better if i asked a friend to go with me!!!

i had mr traynor on 1st sept and my boobs are amazing, i love them sooooo much! i opted for 410cc and they look natural on my frame

hes an excellent surgeon and i cant fault my boobs one bit!

oo just read and will tell u my story i was checked in at 7.30am and then was in surgery at 10am i then left the hospital at 5.30pm after eating and watching alot of tv! lol x

Hi Clare, I had my BA in Manchester with Mr Traynor yesterday as a day case!! He was lovely but you dont see that much of him anyway, mainly the nurses. When you go in you fill in a couple of forms and are then you are shown to your room. The nurse takes blood pressure ect and the anethitist ensures you havent eaten/drank anything and Mr Traynor comes to draw on you and answer any last minute questions. After that you just wait till its your turn to go down!! All the staff are lovely and really supportive, I was sooo nervous but needn’t have been.
