Has anyone on here had revision rhinoplasty or is considering it?

Hey everyone, hope you’re all well!

I may be prematurely stressing, but I really can feel a hard spikey sharp lump on the side of my bridge, a bit like a piece of grit. It feels different from all the other swelling which is kind of rounded. Has anyone got anything like this? Am thinking I might need a file down- has anyone had this? Is it like having your whole nose done again or is the recovery much quicker? Help please guys

p.s. sorry for the whine, I do love my nose but am just stressed about this issue!

Lovely Tina got in touch with lovely Mario and he said not to worry, but I know it feels different from the other swelling. I guess i’ll see him in my post-op soon.

Talia, in my initial consultation with another surgeon, not a MYA one, I was told that I was going to have exactly this type of unevenness but it was going to be temporary. Now I can feel something like that on my nose and I’m not worried. I’ll wait for my 6th-week app witb Mr G and if it hasn’t gone by then I’ll ask him. But as far as I remember that original conversation the surgeon said it would take months to get even.

It would be great if someone who’s gone through this in the past could give us advice.

Yes girls I have unevenness too I am definitely more swollen on the right than the left and it makes my nostrils slightly dissimilar. I was stressing about this 2 weeks ago but can already see that it is improving so I know its not permanent. I see Dr G in a weeks time so I’ll ask him loads of questions and get back to you all.

I just remember him keep saying its a slow process and you have to be patient. At the time I was like yea, yea, yea. But now I realise what he means. Trolley Dolly might be able to help as she is a lot further on the process than us.

Hey hun I’m just over 2 years post op now, mine felt uneven n lumpy bits for a few months but it’s perfectly fine now, feels like a normal nose ha. Still kills to fuck if I bang it tho! That might just be me tho lol. I don’t remember a sharp spiky feeling but its probs just abit of swelling, theyl check it out for you as soon as you see um anyway xx
