Has anyone paid a deposit to secure an op date before seeing a surgeon?

Hi girls

Had my 1st appointment with MYA lastnight & prefer them to the other company I went to so think I will go with MYA. There is an op date available in Jan & this is ideal for me as I am going away end of Feb so need to be fully recovered! Was wondering if anyone else had paid a deposit to secure their op date before seeing any surgeons? Ive done my research & think Mr C or Russo would be perfect for me so will request to see both. Am I jumping the gun a bit or is it best to see them & then pay the deposit once I am happy? xx

Go with your instinct honey,Ive just had septorhinoplasty with MYA and I really cant fault them,I have used other companies in the past for cosmetic procedures and they were fine,but to be honest now I have used MYA,I would’nt go anywhere else.I dont think that you are jumping the gun,both surgeons you have mentioned are excellent,go for it,xxxx

Hi, I did the same thing after doing my research i knew i wanted Mr Kazzazi & when i was offered a date that suited me i paid a deposit to secure it. I met Mr K yesterday & he’s every bit as wonderful as i had been told, so i’m all ready for my op in 9 days time!!! xxx

i paid a deposit down for a date before meeting my surgeon didnt even do any research just heard he was amazing on here! and now im so glad i did as i got a nice new nose xx

Hey Hun.. I did exactly that after my first consult with my PC on Saturday.. She recommended that I have Mr Chantarasak do my BA so I have booked my op for 3rd April, I did have a list of recommended surgeons from what I have read on here and he was on the top!! I meet him for his consult next month.. You have just got to go with your instinct like tina2011 said, my PC was very helpful and knew exactly the surgeon to match me with, and my wish had been to hopefully book an op date when I went to see her.. Can now get on an pay for it and get excited!!!! xxxxxx

Hi, I paid my deposit before I met Dr Singh as the date I wanted was avaliable….

Hey!! I paid deposit too before seeing Mr Singh but you do have a 7 day “cooling off” period to get your deposit back after seeing your chosen surgeon if you decide not to proceed!! x

i did as id read so much good stuff about singh and i wanted it done asap i booked my op with him at my first consult with my pc lol! and didn’t regret it x

thanks everyone. Im booked for surgery on Jan 12th with Russo unless I change my mind & go with Mr C the the date will change. Seeing them both this Friday, cant beleive I am finally doing it! x
