I was wondering whether any post op girls had thick white sticky tape plastered over their boobs after op and whether they took it off before their post op appt with nurse? I had my op two days ago and I’m dying to take the tape off as it feels like my boobs need space to swell and the tape isn’t helping! It’s also going to kill when the nurse rips it off!!

    Thanks girlies!!

    Hi Hun,

yes i had the sticky tape on and i had it taken off by the nurse, it doesnt hurt at all, but leave it on as apparently it helps your new boobies stay in place.#

    hope this hepls

    Hi hun

I had this tape too and i took it off myself after 4 days (mr singh told me to do this). It didnt hurt hun, i held a hair dryer upto the tape and it helps it peel (nurse told me to) x

I’ve decided to keep mine on until I see the nurse on Thursday! It is driving me crazy too and I’ve cut bits off so it’s not showing and so I can shave under my arms! I reckon the first week after op is very important so with Macom bra and white tape I hope I’m giving my new assets the best possible beginning! I’d hate for anything to go wrong!!x

I cracked! Took of all tape except for the bit stuck under boobs hiding gauze. It was driving me nuts and waking me up the itching was so bad! Feel better now and think my surgical bra should be enough support for them. Got a better look at boobs and right boob is definitely more swollen than left, can also see quite a bit of yellow bruising where incisions were made. Made me feel quite queazy at this time in the morning! How is everyone else?xx
