From what i’ve read, if you are a daycase, you seem to be the first in at 7.30am and have your op first thing too. That gives you all day before you are discharged. xx

Hi ladies,
I had my BA last friday at Highgate. I was a daycase but wasn’t admitted until 12noon and eventually went down at 3.20pm, i was discharged at 8.30pm. My friend was also a daycase on friday, she was admitted at 10am and went down about 1pm and discharged the same time as me.

Did you feel okay to leave after such a short time? I’ve decided to stay in overnight as i live a good 2 hours drive from Highgate, so don’t fancy going home, and then having to go back later if there was a problem.
