Has Anyone Worn Light Make Up When Going For Surgery…I Hate Not Wearin ANY lol

Just want to know has anyone worn any light make up….i hate leaving house with none, not full works just a lil foundation and eyeliner….was thinking can take make up wipes in case they want it removed? Also when it says no nail varnish – is this on toe nails as well???

they make u remove the lot im afraid.. god knows why its just standard with any surgery lol xxx i had an operation and was gutted when they gave me a bunch of baby wipes hahahah.. altho i didnt have to remove my acrylic nails as they are permanent white tips not varnish xxx

totally know where ur comin from tho… i look like ive died and been dug up if i dont wear make up!!! just hideous . lol just take some wipes with u and make-up to apply when ur outta surgery hahah xxx thats what id do anyway… did it when i had my son via c-section. that make-up was back on as soon s i was wheeled back to my bed hahahaha

Yep I feel you there hun.. GUTTED I can’t wear any and I’ve got to wander down to surgery with a bear face and my specs on!! (can’t wear my contacts either!) that with my slippers and hospital gown I’m going to look so sexy.. haha xx

ahhh i was hoping i could get away with wearing a teeny bit of mineral make up! – also, i have to pencil my eyebrows on lol so i’m gonna look well, bare faced AND no eyebrows!! eek! xx

I wore fake tan on my face,lol,and i had pencil on my eyebrows no one asked me to remove,they like no polish on nails or toes,they need to see your cuticles,whilst operating apparently,as this shows the anathetist how much oxygen is in your blood,well thats what a nurse told me.lol.x

i wear contacts also, dont have glasses, so gna have to tell them i need to hold someones arm lol as blind without lol.

do they give you a gown or should i take my own xx

To be honest, the day of your surgery, all you can think about is having a shower, straightening your hair, so you feel all clean and ready. I was not bothered in the slightest about makeup. AND im 37 so not young and beautiful like you lot haha.

I did make mr singh laugh tho, as when he took my photos in my room, i said what with no makeup, he laughed and said its of your boobs not your face.!!! xx

lol shazzy, i was the same as you hun…same age too! I wasn’t bothered about make up! Just wanted to get there and get my boobs xx

absolutely gutted! I need my eyebrows! I have really dark eyes too. No concealer

They poor nurses must see some sights!

At the end of the day, no make-up for a few hours is a small price to pay when your getting new boobies…thats what i think anyway x
