Hey girls…
So I’m now back in my hospital room relaxing. Have had my first pee (the nurse has to come with you the first time, then she can take out that horrible drip thing) and had a little bit of toast and 2 cups of tea!! YAY.
So I got up around 5AM to shower and get ready to leave, once it got to about 7AM the hotel called us a taxi, he arrived and took us to the hospital… and it was AWFUL, the guy was a complete nightmare, he nearly crashed straight into two cars with us in the back, was doing about 50MPH in 20 and 30 speed limits… COMPLETELY freaked me out. He went to the RIGHT address first, then asked if I would like to go to the hospital, which I thought (STUPID ME) meant would I like to be taken to the front door… OH NOOOO he decided to turn around, and drop us off at Wittington Hospital (Big NHS hospital, if that’s even what it’s called!) by which point I told him we were supposed to be going to a private hospital… he was very rude and said ”there is only ONE hospital in Highgate!!” pffft shows what he knows!! Anyways he charged us £10 for about a 2 mile drive which is bloody ridiclous, so my boyfriend called the hotel and complained about him. Nearly gave me a friggen heart attack stupid bloody man.
Anyways, filled in a form at Highgate and waited to be seen to my room. Got to the lovely room 302 and started to get a little comfy. A FANTASTIC anaesthetist came and had a quick chat with me, then Katie the nurse came and measured me for stockings, do a pregnancy test etc etc. My temperature was really high so I had to go outside to cool down before she could write down I was alright to have the op. In the meantime Dr Singh came in to tell me I couldn’t be first as MYA clinic hadn’t sent him his notes. Dear oh dear.
So I waited around for a bit, nurse came in and took my temp again which was a little better and decided it was environmental or something… not feverish.
At about 10AM the nurse came in and said Dr Singh was ready for me. So I slipped on my sexy paper knickers (wasn’t going to sit there for hours in the horrid things lol) and my slippers, then made my way downstairs with my nurse. She led me down and put a blanket over me ready for the anaesthetist. He came in shortly after and put the drip in (which was actually the worst part so far) he said that Dr Singh wanted to have a chat with me before he put me under, but whilst we were chatting he soon forgot that and started putting me under!! Lol, Dr Singh came in in the nick of time and asked which implant size I wanted, I said 410cc please, said ”I feel dizzy.. well not dizzy” and I was out like a light!!
Next thing I know I was waking up from what seemed like a very comfortable sleep, the nurse was putting vaseline on my lips and asking if I was okay. Someone then wheeled me back to my room which was a big blur! My lovely boyfriend was waiting there for me (after pasing up and down the room the whole time I was in) I was very very shakey and my arm pits ached like a bitch lol. I had lots of water then I was allowed a bit of toast and some tea (YAY YAY YAY)
Like I said before, had to call the nurse in as I wanted to pee, she helped me with that then took the horrible drip thing out of my hand. And that’s where I’ve got so far girlies!!
I’m not entirely sure if I have 410s as I fell asleep before Dr Singh could tell me if it was possible or not lol, but I’m sure I’ll find out soon enough. They look lovely, quite big but not too big and they don’t really hurt at all.
I am a little dizzy and tired so I think I’m going to have a nap now, I will upload my pre-op pics and try to take some new ones. REALLY REALLY sorry for rambling on, just realised how much I’ve written! Whoops.

I literally couldn’t have got this far through without all of you, you’ve all been fab fab fab and I love you all!! Hehe.
Just had some pasta and ice cream, yum yum. I feel pretty good though, quite tired and really hot but I think it’s because this room is sooooo warm. I have changed out of my paper knickers but keeping the gown and stockings on for now (gotta wear stockings for the rest of the day) but its nice having a breeze every now and then on my back
Seriously can’t believe it’s all done! Girls, it’s such a lovely experience and I would do the whole thing all over again in a heart beat… but don’t under estimate what you can’t do… I tried to lift my plate up so it was closer to me and OMG did it hurt lol so just remember to take it easy!!
Amy26 hun, it’ll be here before you know it trust me, I know it’s easy for everyone to say and at times it goes pretty damn slowly but enjoy it!! Looking back, I booked my op in March (I think) and the waiting/counting is the best part, well I think so anyways. I’m kind of sad all the waiting is over actually!! Lol.
Anyways, sorry for rambling again lol thanks girls x

Aww 12 days hun!! I bet you’re so excited
What size are you having??Nope not really in any pain babe, it aches a bit when I reach too far forward with my arms or pulling/pushing. I had my first lot of painkillers at 12, haven’t had anything since and I feel pretty good so hopefully that’s a good sign.
So fricken hungry though!! Lol xx
