HATE not being able to message girls before adding…

Sometimes we have personal reasons for the add or personal questions to ask which we don’t wanna broadcast on the forum! Soooo frustrating

feels a little creepy for us newbies to be adding people. A message is much more personal and a kind of introduction.

I know! I feel like a weirdo just adding girls when they don’t know why but even if I wrote it on the main forum chances are they wouldn’t see it anyway cos of all the other posts. Xx

Couldn’t agree more! Ur right holly not every1 goes back on n looks at the posts, and theres some personal things you wouldn’t want to discuss in a public forum! Makes more sense to private mail before adding but who am I to say lol xxxx

i agree too! its difficult to ask to add people on the forum..i forget which thread i’ve asked people on and never know if i’ve got permission to add which i dont really like doing unless i’ve got a reply, i’m pre-op at the moment but i get that its so personal with your pics and its nice to send a pm first, as Karina said, it feels abit creepy just adding when you havnt even so much as exchanged a message!

Hopefully they will be able to adapt the system so that we can send a short message before we add,or put it back to how it was and give us a block button.

I do see why they felt they needed to make the changes,to protect members, I am sure they will be taking all this feedback on board,in the hope of adapting the forum to make it as user friendly as possible.xxx

Hi everyone

We have asked for the private messaging function to be put back on.

However, our web team are still working on a solution to block messages from users you do not wish to speak to.

In the meantime please can you make us aware if you are concerned or worried about any unwanted messages sent to your account.

It would be good if you can put a function in place similar to what Facebook has so if you block a person then they can’t message you AND you won’t be able to see anything that they post on the forum and vice versa….I think this would reduce the number of ‘bitchy’ posts on here and you MYA mod wouldnt have to delete as many threads lol x

Notifications would be good as i always forget where i’ve posted! xxx
