I was just wondering if having children after a BA would ruin my new boobs?? I am hoping to get my boobs done early next year but I am 28 and would ideally want children in the next 5 years. Will they be ok afterwards or will I need them doing again? xxx

Thats something you would need to ask your surgeon honey, even without pregnancy or BA breasts change over the years due to increased weight or weight loss,or even just gravity, and in my case age,my friend had hers done she fell pregnant 6 months later,it was not planned, she was very worried, but just looked after her boobs made sure she kept them supple with bio oil, wore a really good support bra all the way through pregnancy and for a couple of months after, and her breast are lovely.

But we are all different,I would run it by your surgeon see what he/she says.xxx

I am 32 and Im getting my boobs done in 2 weeks time. I don’t have children yet but am planning on starting a family in the next couple of years. In an ideal world I think it would be best to wait but I want my boobs now!! Who knows what might happen and how long it will take to conceive etc etc…!

Everyone is different but my surgeon said if I look after my boobs during pregnancy, ie, wear a good support bra, massage them then hopefully they will be fine.

I know a few girls who have had BA then baby and their’s are fine xx

Thanks everyone. I just didnt want to get them done and ruin them when they are relatively new and have to go through it all again, sooner than expected. xx

I’m 32 and had my BA and uplift in April. I love my new boobs and wouldn’t want to do anything to ruin them. But, I know I want to have another child in the next couple of years. I just didn’t want to wait any longer to get my boobs. I’d waited long enough. I was advised that as long as I look after my breasts, keep them well supported, throughout pregnancy and beyond (being measured properly and getting correctly fitting maternity/nursing bras) and keep them massaged then they should be fine.

Don’t wait any longer hun. I wish I’d had mine done years ago!!

I agree with Clare, I think if you knew you were going to have a child within a year or so, then it would be silly not to wait, but I wouldn’t put it off if you’re not sure when kids will come into the picture. You may as well get them done and enjoy them. So many people on here wishing they’d done it earlier. x
