    Hi girls,

    I’m 6 days post op and for 2 nights now Iv woken up with an excruciating headache and feeling sick. Also like a really sharp pain in the back of my head?? I know this might be completely unrelated to having a BA, but thought it was worth asking if anyone else has felt the same. Could be to do with sitting up right maybe at night? Xxxx

    I’m not sure if it’s normal either but I’m having the same feelings but on the side of my head only one side tho? I’m 7 days po I don’t feel sick tho, I was thinking also it could be the sleeping situation which is crippling me I love to sleep on front hugging a pillow 🙁 x

    I see nurse tomorrow and I’m preying im healing well and will be able to shower, think I will feel human again & probably feel better in myself, don’t know how easy it will be washing my hair tho? Don’t know about u but raising arms hurts, recovery is harder than I thought it would be not even so much pain more awkwardness!! X x

    Hi Rebecca,
    I’m 4dpo and yesterday and today woke up with headaches too. I do suffer with headaches generally but since being on all these pain killers for the BA I was surprised I have headaches with so much pain relief in me!

    I do know that if you take pain killers for several days (for any pain) in a row they themselves can cause headaches, so maybe if your still on them that may be the case?
    Hope they settle for you soon Hun xx

    @angela I hope you have healed ok too. Let me know what the nurse says if you mention your headaches. I hope it goes well for you!! Yeah I struggle to lift my arms up too so god know hahah!! I have been having shallow baths from day 2 haha I can’t go without washing I felt horrible xxx

    @eevie yeah I think it probably is that! Hopefully they will go soon when I get used to it maybe? Xx

    @goldie
    oh have you? It’s horrible isn’t it? As well as morning achy chest it’s horrible 🙁 I hope they don’t carry on for you!! Iv cut my meds now, I’m only taking them first thing really unless I really really need them so I’m not sure. Happy healing xxxx

    It’s really putting me down feel like I’ve put so much weight on, not to mention I’ve started coming out in lots of spots! Someone said it’s because of the codeine so going to try and come off them now! Xx

    I wasn’t given codeine , just paracetamol and ibuprofen? The bloating has been the worst bit for me my hubby keeps calling me fatty I know he’s only joking but it’s making me feel a bit down I look pregnant ! 🙁 x x

    Did you have any response from the nurse on the headaches as I’ve woken up with one this morning and trying not to stress myself out over it! Could still be anaesthetic or painkiller as I’m only 2 dpo.
