headaches since BA

Hey girls, is anyone suffering from bad headaches/migraines since their op? I’m a migraine sufferer anyway but had my my op on Monday and i keep getting bad ones on and off. I’m not sure if its because the painkillers are knocking me out and i’m having too much sleep? but is anyone else having this problem? would appreciate any feedback, thanks, Adele xx

Speak to your nurse hun they may change your meds, can be a sign they are affecting your kidneys or just to much sleep as you say, Hope they stop soon hun x

i had that babes!! i dont usually get headaches or migraines but after the first day after my ba i started developing terrible headaches. I wasn’t sure if it was the meds or an effect from the anaesthesia, but i had it for the first week at least. i found drinking gallons of water helped and avoid watching tv or starring at the computer for long periods of time. im two weeks post op now and have had any at all x x

OMG I had really bad headache for about 9 to 10days post op xxx then it went hun

I had awful headaches for a few weeks after mine, I don’t normally get them n thought it was a bit odd, iv heard a few others mention this too xx

I hun i have been suffering migraines for 8yrs+. after havein my BA i had them worse nurse said it was the effect from the anaesthesia. Also my medication for my migrane are tramadol,& propranolol. if u havn’t used tramadol before they can somtimes make u dizzy & feel sick.spk with ur nurse she will no whats best hun but yes its all normal i got them very bad after op xx

Drink loads and loads of water. The anaesthetic will have dehydrated you

I went to the docs last week about my sinuses and i was prescribed the same painkillers i got when i had my BA…the doctor told me to be careful taking them as they could cause headaches…so its prob your meds hun…i’d ask to change them if i were you xx
