HEALING ADVICE NEEDED!

Hey everyone

Had my BA 6 weeks ago now. Still totally numb on the bottom half of my boobs (under nipple to crease).

Anyone else experienced/experiencing this sveral weeks after the op?

Just wondering if this will be permenant, or if I can expect feeling to return at some point?

I never lost any sensation in the nipples, but I have no feeling what so ever on the skin below the nipples. If I run my nails along this area, I don’t feel a thing until about half way up the sides of my boobs.

Any advice would be appreciated!

hey hunny, that is perfectly natural numbness can last up until a year after BA. have you tried massaging yet? I am exactly the same from nipple down cant feel anything xxx

Im only 4 days post op but exactly the same cannot feel from nipple to crease plus my nipples wont go hard!! No matter how cold I am! Hope this changes soon, I didnt know it could last for that long? Give MYA a ring and ask to speak to a nurse maybe?xx

9 Weeks post op and im the same.

Spoke to nurse about it. This is normal xx
