A few questions, if you wouldn’t mind helping me out!

I’m due to have my op in about 4 weeks. I’m having an uplift. I was told I will lose a couple of sizes. Anyone else had this done? How much smaller? (not too much I hope! :S) I need to buy some post op bras.

When do you have your pre op? What happens? And do you meet your surgeon again?

Also, I haven’t paid the rest of my balance. I wanted to wait until after my pre op, but time is running out so I think I’ll have to pay it this week, or I’ll lose my date.

I think there was more but I can’t remember! Just getting nervous now!!!

Hiya hun, I’m sorry I can’t help with the uplift question. Your pre-op is usually 2 weeks before your op but its can be a bit before you need to ring your PC to book it. Your pre-op is with a nurse not your surgeon. The nurse will give you all the info you need about what you can and can’t do pre and post-op address of hospital ect just all the relevant info your going to need. You will then sign all the relevant paper work needed. She then weighs you and measures your height. You will be given 3 swabs to do to test for mrsa one you swab in your nostril one uder your arms and one in your groin. She takes pre-op pics of boobs and you can ask any questions. You can meet your surgeon as much as you want to but you’ll have to call and book another appointment. If you pay your balance then change your mind after your pre-op they will refund your money so you won’t lose anything if you pay before don’t worry.

Thank you for your reply! I’ve sent my PC a similar email as well. Never realized the pre op was so close to the op, but I suppose it makes sense. I’ve only got 10 days left to pay so better do it next week.

How many times did you meet your surgeon? I looked at your profile, seen you had mr Singh! I’m booked with him too, I’ve only met him once. I’m a 34g, he said I’d have better results if he took me down to a c or a d, but I was like noooo I’m too used to them being there!!! So I’m thinking I might end up e or f?? I’m confused! I think I might have to see if I can see him again just for peace of mind. My consultation was in August, now suddenly as its approaching I have a million questions, argh!

Yeahh you want to be sure just to make yourself feel better. You can see him as much as you want hun so just call your PC or the clinic and you can book another consultation I only saw him once but I had my consultation and pre-op the same day and my op 2 weeks later xx

Maybe you could do that too? Book your pre-op and see him again the same time xx

I think I might try to see him on the same day as my pre op. Hopefully speak to my PC tomorrow and sort something out. Thank you for your help! x

I had uplift with implants. I was a saggy d/dd. She said after the uplift I’d prob be a b cup, that’s y I choose implants too.

If he takes u too an e or f he won’t be taking away all the loose skin so just seems a bit pointless? Your havin an uplift to lift them n make them pert, not to just take u down a size n lift a little bit? Seems like a bit of a waste Hun? It’s your boobs & your money tho it’s up to u! Xxx

When I mentioned implants he said I wouldn’t need any, so I didn’t argue! I don’t wanna lose a lot of my size, cos I’m so used to them being big. I’m happy with the size even! It’s just that they’re saggy. My nipples point to the floor! If I had implants wouldn’t they just be weighted down more? I’m confused! So are you still a dd?

Well that’s good then, u musnt b really as saggy as u think! Is there lots of boob there tho, mine was mostly skin. No I’m a g now. It is all confusing. It differs from person to person, surgeon to surgeon too hey? Mr Singh nos best!xxx

When I put my bra on, I have to tuck the skin in or it looks really wrinkly! I think omg what would people think if they saw! Yeah it’s all pretty confusing, I just dont have a clue what size post op bra I need to order! Yeah I realize he’s been sorting boobs out for 30 odd years, so you are probably right! Did he do yours?

Aww I had to do the same, shit isn’t it! Bet u can’t wait to have them fixed?! Did he not tell u wat size? Get some questions wrote down n c if u can go n c him again, 1st time round u forget everything! I couldn’t c my surgeon again so had to do it all through my pc n the receptionist, it was hard work xxx

I think he said maybe e/f? But that was in August, so a while ago, so I think now I’m going into panic mode! I still haven’t heard back from my email, so if I haven’t heard by tomorrow afternoon I think I’ll ring up! I wanna pay the rest of my balance this week, but I wanna hear back first! X

Just been reading some posts and it’s all negative! Now I’m terrified! Not sure if this forum is a really good idea or a really bad one!

If your treatment includes an overnight stay, is that already included in your quoted price?
