hi girls, got a question for u all, iv been given the option of having my ba on the 4th april which i wanted but the time of my op wud be 6pm…. have any of u had ur op at this time and been able to go to a hotel afterwards? iv been told i will hav to stay a minimum of 4 hrs but most require 6-8 after surgery so wud probably have to be an overnight… i so soooooooooo want this x plz help lol
I had mine 3 Fridays ago at 10.30am – I was awake and in my room by 2and was so drowsy till about 8. I was ok to eat, talk, watch tele but dont think I would be ok to be in a car or moving far for this amount of time. Going to the loo was bad enough!!!
thing is its my mum n dad that are lending me the money for it and theyre not keen on spending an extra 400 quid for an overnight… theyre going to see the xfactor on the 2nd n i was given the 1st april as a daycase so if i go for the 1st they wont be able to look after me on the 2nd or 3rd, how much were u able to do on ur own for the first 2 days hun? xx
Are you having unders or overs? I had unders and couldn’t do anything except go to the loo, even found making a sandwich hard, couldn’t get my own drinks or anything.
You definately need someone there the first couple of days and if you do a daycase you’d definately need someone staying in the hotel with you
hey i had my opp at 6.30pm ish. i was in as a daycase and i had to stay overnight cos my surgeon used drains so they werent ready to be taken out. if ur surgeon doesnt use drains u may be able to leave just b4 midnight but u wont know til u have the opp x
I think youll be fine day 2 and 3, just weak – Just buy some nice M&S ready meals and ull be fine! You woudlent want to be doing cooking, thats for sure!
