Hey Hun, you pretty much have to wear it 24/7 for 6 weeks, except when you have a shower, I did used to take mine off for about 20 mins a night to ice them as I had really bad swelling, I know it’s annoying but will definetly be worth it x x x

Hi Gemma, I’m probably not much use as I don’t have my ba until next week but I have seen a few girls on here who have found the macoms really uncomfortable, maybe if it’s really not comfy you could try a different bra? Maybe m&s or the adds ones seem popular…… 6 weeks is a long time to be in a bra that hurts ? xx

Only had it on a few days and I feel like they need to come out I’ve undone it and put it on a slacker strap which helps but it is uncomfortable.
It doesn’t rub or anything I can’t explain the feeling I just want it to be off?

    Thank you xxx

Change your bra to one of your others. I found after a couple of days in my macom it just didnt feel comfy anymore. It was just because I’d had it on so long. Try switching your bra every day xx

I got some lovely bras from
M&S inknow the nurse recommended Macom bras but I always wear m&s underwear and its lovely so I thought I would stick with what I know obviously I have my op tomorrow so I don’t no what they are going to feel like post op but they were so comfortable when I tried them on xx

I’ve not personally tried a Macom but I have tried asda and found it very uncomfy. It seemed to dig right in on my incisions when I first had my op so I got a post surgery one from matalan which was loads better but I’ve also got a M&S one supports amazing and really comfy. I take mine off a few times through the day just for a brether I’m 16 days PO and it’s done me no harm 🙂 xxx
