HELP!!

Hi girls sorry haven’t been on here much lately as my laptop is broken and I find it a bit frustrating on my IPhone! Anyway I’ll try to keep this as short as possible!

I’m around 12 weeks p/o now after an uplift and 390 unders..everything has been fine so far and ive had no problems at all with my healing…then yesterday I noticed an area on the very edge of my ****** that initially looked like a spot but it was sore to touch and the colour of my skin in the small area seemed kind of mottled and the area under it felt really soft almost like if I poked it I’d be able to put my finger right through (sorry if this all sounds weird but it’s hard to explain) so then this morn it looked like the spot had a tiny head on it so I squeezed it a bit and loads of puss and bloody fluid came out! There was quite a bit of it but it seems to hv stopped now however I’ve called my nurse and Shes not in til later on and I’m now sat here panicking!! I didn’t think I’d get an infection at this stage of my recovery!!! has anyone had anything like this that could offer any advice?? I’ve made an apt with my gp as even if I speak to my nurse/consultant they are 70 miles away!

I’m still pre-op and having the uplift and implants. I’m a nurse and afraid it sounds lift you’ve got an infection, probably good that you’ve got the puss out but think you should get an urgent appointment with your GP as you will need antibiotics ASAP to clear it up. Hope think helps.

thanks for ur relplies girls I hv been to my gp who thinks I do have a small infection And has prescribed me anti biotics although she’s told me to spk to my nurse and see what they want me to do b4 I start taking them so am just waiting for her to call me back! just so annoyed ive gotten an infection so far into my recovery but hopefully it’ll all b ok!

thanks debs I’ll send her a message later! Spoke to my nurse and goin to see her Tomo, she thinks I may of had a stitch abcess:-( best to get it looked at properly though I guess x
