Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can’t go home until I go toilet and for some weird reason I can’t go wee, I feel like I need to go but when I try nuffin come out I just want MY bed!!

Is this normal, has this happened to anyone else?

A silly question, but have you drunk enough water?

I drank over a litre after my op. It took about 2 hours for me to wee. So relieved

when I did.

The hospital have a duty of care to make sure you are well enough

to leave, including normal renal function.

Drink plenty and nature should take its course.

Yeah I’m been drinking loads, everytime I finish a glass my mum tops me up lol

What would we do without our mums looking after us.

It’s medical procedure to ensure they are working properly before

discharging you.

Be patient (play on words) and try not to worry.

I remember the nurses being concerned that I didn’t wee for such a long time. I think it took me about 8 hrs after my op to go to the toilet. It’ll happen, give it time. x
